Update #2 (10/13/2022):

Service quality has tanked again since my last review. This is the second time since that I've had to wait over 20 minutes for an order. I'm not one to make much of a fuss but ended up flagging someone down after noticing at least 4 cars that pulled in after us get their food and leave. They brought the food out right after without any sort of acknowledgement or apology to the wait time.

Update #1 (4/5 Stars, 10/29/2020):

Despite my harsh reviews in the past, I've gone to Sonic more times than I can (and would like to count) during the pandemic due to its cost and convenience.

The service that I've experienced as of late has been top notch. My order hasn't been messed up yet. I always order via the mobile app and check-in when I get to a stall and the service is always fast and friendly.

This is probably the worst Sonic I've been to. I used to go here quite often even when they get my order wrong simply because it was cheap and convenient but it somehow went from getting my order wrong half the time to getting my order wrong every time.

On various occassions, I'd wait after paying and never receive my order, forcing me to buzz again and ask where it is before they tell me literally tell me "I don't know" and have to remake it.

During my last visit, I ordered a single drink and they couldn't even...

I pulled up and was told the computers had went down and that it would be a few minutes before they could take any orders. Fine I thought, I'll wait. 5 minutes later and another vehicle pulls up and pushes the button and recieves immediate service .

Ok... That stings. So they overlooked me. Ok I'll just push the button again. They come on asking me about another person's order so I tell them it isn't mine and they finally take my order.

I am not exagerrating, 10 minutes go by and they show up at my car with someone else's order. I explain that it is not my order and they take it back with them, that was all before I even started wrirting this review.

The guy who's ordered was mistakenly brought to me, he's still waiting as they haven't figured it out yet. You can hear them calling over the speakers at various cars asking, "did you order xxx" and people replying, "no, I ordered xxx". Me on the other hand, I'm still waiting too, but not for my food but instead for a full refund that will take 7 to 10 business days.

All told I spent 22 minutes at Sonic and only left pissed and hungry .

Oh and since I wrote that I was writing this (about a 2 paragraphs ago) they have brought 2 more orders out to my car, niether were mine .

This place... Just close it or please get some better...

Feb. 2 I went to the dayton blvd sonic around 12:15. I placed my order and waited over 20 minutes at the stall. The car hop brought my order out and I asked her why my total was so high (I ordered 2 sonic burgers, 2 classic shakes, a medium chili cheese tot) she repeated my order to me, I then said does the deal on the screen not apply to the burgers and shakes I ordered? She told me I had to ask for that deal when ordering. I asked her if I could get the deal now, it doesn't say that on the screen that you have to say you want that deal, we even sat and waited for the ad to scroll back through so I could show her. She said she would have to go ask her manager. She goes in and comes back out, my manager said we can't apply that deal now. I tell her, well I just want to take the milkshakes off, I wasn't expecting to pay for them. She goes in and comes back out, my manager said we can't take them off. So I handed back the shakes and told her you can keep the whole order. I wasn't rude about any of this, but the manager at this location was not trying to help in the least bit. I work in customer service myself and how this situation was handled, was unsatisfactory. I...
