This was my second visit to Six Little Teacups, on the first visit they were closed, even though online said they were open. This time they were open, but not serving their pastries and cakes, etc... They are expanding the rooms to provide more space for large parties ( this was awhile back, I just came across this review and wanted to update my experience as it was a more positive one). The sweet lady gave me a bunch of delicious cookies and some loose tea, which I made when I got home and it was delicious. All free. The place was in the process of being redecorated but I could see the beautiful potential in the lovely vintage furniture and the sweet china dishes, tea cups, tea pots and tableware. Read moreThis place is rather unassuming in a strip mall, but then you're transported to an adorable English tea room the moment you walk through the doors. Love seeing groups enjoying afternoon or high tea, so cute! There are even dresses for the little princesses.
The owner, Kim, is such a sweetheart and completes the lovely experience. The desserts are beautiful and delicious. I got quite a sampling and enjoyed each goody. My favorites are the blueberry muffin, Hoosier bun, and cream horn OMG! Life-changing! ...also adding the quiche to my list of favorites and yet I've never been a quiche...
Read moreI brought my mother and two grandmothers here for a late Mother's Day tea time and it was absolutely wonderful! Kim is a wonderful hostess and baker. We ordered the high tea package, which came with a delicious tomato & basil soup and tiers of sandwiches, quiche, crostinis, and desserts. My mother and I split a pot of the earl grey tea which had vanilla and lavender in it, giving it a very sweet taste. Definitely would recommend booking a spot here for tea parties...
