Had an unfortunate experience. Just know that if you need any help correcting an order or receiving a refund they are less than willing.
I came through the drive through to get two of the new boxes. When I received my order at the window I notice that the bag was light so I asked if this was indeed the BOXES that I had ordered. The young man told me yes that it was, so I took him at his word and drove home. When I looked inside there were only four items in the bag for our two “boxes.” I decided to give them a ring because previously at this location I’ve always had great service with kind people so I was hoping we could correct the order somehow. I also want to mention that I have managed a fast food restaurant in the past so I do have knowledge on codes regarding food and customer service.
The woman I spoke to listened to my complaint, and told me the person taking orders rang in my order incorrectly for a combo instead of a box. She said it was a new box and they probably didn’t know that they had it yet. Having poor training isn’t an excuse but I could have let that slide if I hadn’t asked the young man at the window if there were two BOXES in my bag. I mentioned that I had tried to order the boxes and then make sure I received them. She then told me he was new (the man at the window) so he just read what was on the screen, that was put in incorrectly, and told me everything was in my bag. It was a run around conversation of excuses on why this had happened with no solution given. So at this point I asked what we could do about this situation even though it was becoming clear that at this point she did not want to take any responsibility for the staff’s errors. She said I could bring the food back in so she could give me my actual order. Two things wrong with this. First, and the worst part, is anyone working fast food should know that it is against code to take back food through the window. It is a violation. And lastly I was already home and was not planning on driving all the way back to this location tonight to get their mistakes fixed.
We won’t be coming to this location again, and I caution anyone who goes there to know that they have untrained staff, bad customer service, and go against health codes. Hopefully ownership can get ahold of their staff and at least make sure they don’t get shut down for this...
Read moreWe ordered on the Taco Bell app so we could get a free taco as part of the Taco Pass we just bought. Highway 58 was the closest Taco Bell, so we went there. Our order wasn't right, plus the items were a mess in the bag. Disappointing. They were busy with a long line at the drive-thru. Like I said, we ordered with the app, and the 2 ways you can pickup your order are to either go through the drive-thru or go inside. My son went inside, had to wait a little while, but not too terribly long, came back with our order, and like I said, it wasn't right, but rather than ask him to go back in, I figured the sloppy free taco made up for the missing item. I don't know. So, in general I like Taco Bell, and have been eating there for many, many years. This particular location went through a major renovation not too long ago, so the restaurant looks pretty good from the outside. On a positive note, I really like the Baja Blast, I was really thirsty and it really tasted good yesterday. Also, if you are careful, the menu still has some items that are reasonably priced, but you have to look past most of the new menu items that are much more expensive. That being said, I will continue to go to Taco Bell, but will try to use other locations, Ooltewah is pretty good by the way. UPDATE - we ordered from the Hixson Pike location recently using the app, still had to go through the drive-thru to pick up our order, but this time the order was correct, items were placed neatly in the bag and the wait was not bad, just a few minutes in the drive-thru line, lady was friendly. Also, I ordered from the Ooltewah location a few days ago. This time, the wait in line was too long, probably 25 minutes or so. But the order was correct, people were friendly. And in fairness, I ordered at about 12:45 in the afternoon so they were very busy. So, after using 3 different locations and using the app all 3 times, I would suggest the following: 1. try to order when they are not just crazy-busy, 2. for now avoid Highway 58 if possible, and 3. if someone from Taco Bell reads this, maybe do like McDonald's and have a curb-side pickup option, that would make a world...
Read moreImagine a world where tacos rain from the sky, burritos roll down the streets, and the rivers flow with nacho cheese. Now, stop imagining because Taco Bell is the real-life embodiment of this delicious utopia. Visiting Taco Bell is like attending a gourmet feast, where the chefs wear visors and the silverware is disposable.
From the moment you walk in, the aroma of seasoned beef and melted cheese wraps around you like a warm blanket, promising a culinary adventure. The menu is a treasure map to hidden gems like the Crunchwrap Supreme, a geometric marvel that defies the laws of physics with its crunchiness, and the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, which is basically a hug between two tortillas.
The staff at Taco Bell are the guardians of the galaxy of fast food. They wield spatulas and sauce packets with the skill of seasoned warriors, ready to customize your meal with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. Whether you're a "sauce-on-the-side" person or a "let's-see-how-many-fire-sauces-I-can-handle-before-calling-for-help" daredevil, they've got you covered.
And let's not forget about the late-night cravings. Taco Bell is there for you, shining like a beacon of hope when all other eateries have closed their doors. It's the culinary equivalent of a best friend who's always up for a chat at 2 AM.
In conclusion, Taco Bell is not just a fast-food restaurant; it's a gastronomic wonderland where dreams come true, wallets remain relatively full, and the only limit is your appetite. Five stars for making me believe that taco-flavored happiness is just a...
