New to all you can eat sushi :
Me and my boyfriend like to try new places all the time and I had a friend recommend this place so we decided to try it out having no idea about the place.
After we’ve been seated and we’ve looked at the menu for a minute our waitress comes up and asks us if we’ve ever been there before neither of us have been there before so we said no it was our first time there, she gave us little to no explanation of how the all you can eat menu works, she only told us to mark what we want, that’s all she did to explain it and then she goes right into asking what we want to drink and my boyfriend wanted a drink menu and she said the restaurant has coke products, I understand the confusion but she could have asked if he meant a cocktail menu, so we just went with a coke and let it be, it was almost like she was trying to get away as fast as possible.
After our servers terrible explanation and her bringing us our drink she immediately walks off before we can ask her more questions about the menu cause by all means we didn’t want to do the wrong thing and order something we don’t even want, so we had to flag down ANOTHER server who was glad to help us out, letting us know if we only want one of a sushi roll we could put a check mark or if we want more than one sushi roll (6 pieces) put numbers and we didn’t know if our server was gonna come back to get our filled out menus or not cause our server didn’t tell us so we asked the server who was kind enough to explain how to work the menu what we do and she said our server would take our menu and come out with our food ( I wish I had got that girls name cause she definitely deserves some praise for helping us new customers figure it out )
Another thing, I had ordered the Hot and Sour Soup, absolutely delicious! loved it! It was definitely fresh and very HOT, I was drinking my drink to cool off my mouth after every few sips of my very hot soup and I pretty much downed my drink in the first 30 minutes of having the drink, not once did our server come back to check on us, AND when she brought out our sushi rolls she STILL didn’t bring me a refill of my drink or even ask if I wanted a refill, like I was inconveniencing her, we had to flag down yet ANOTHER worker to get me a refill ( which again I wish I had gotten this girls name too cause she was very nice and deserves the praise as well, I know she works at the front cause she was there when we went to pay )
Moral of the story :
Decent food for a decent price - definitely bring your appetite though.
Servers Customer Service could be better!
I’m not sure if I’ll ever go to this...

Something was going on inbetween the waitress taking our tickets and the kitchen making it. It felt like the kitchen deicided what they felt like making off of our order as we were constantly waiting on items and every time the waitress came back and asked if we needed anything we'd say, the items we ordered. There was only 2 other tables in the entire restaurant besides us and they didnt seem to be ordering anything (or were struggling like we were) and yet food was taking 30 to 40 minutes for simple things like 4 cuts of sashimi. Another person (not our waitress) would also come and ask what we wanted and then tell us off when we said we hadn't receieved other items, or had put them on someone elses plate and told us off for combining orders (we hadnt) and was constantly hungry and waiting. Will point out the waitress brought everything that thr kitchen made, all hot food seemed to be made relatively faster and came out but whoever was on rolls and sashimi just didnt want to i guess. It got to the point where we were given our check and still hadnt received the last 2 rolls our kids ordered (teens) amd the waitress started getting rude with us. She kept telling us she was new so we were patient with her but she asked essentially why we were still waiting and we said we still hadnt received the food we put in and she demanded where and started pulling out the tickets and demanding my kid tell her what was missing and that she'd given the kitchen everything but we'd get parts of the orders . One of of group left to go out and smoke as they had finished eating and i guess that irritated her and asked what her problem was and again insisted shes new and doing her best and we agreed but we just wanted our food. I personally didnt order any more because it took 40 minutes from the last order for the other items to come out so i felt I'd be waiting even longer for mine
So the food itself is decent but holy heck was we there for ages and really got nothing for it. Mad we didnt go to our usual sushi place where at least I would of had fast service and a filling meal for the same price All you can eat? All you are allowed to eat it seems (now with bonus...
Read moreThis was my first time eating here. We had a group of 7 that went for lunch (at 12 on a Tuesday) to welcome a co-worker back from Army National Guard training. It was kinda busy. I'd say at least 3/4 of the way full. We got seated pretty quickly. Our waitress visited our table shortly after being seated. She was very friendly (I wish I could remember her name; younger with blonde curly hair) and helpful in explaining the all you can eat to those of us that hadn't been there before. Most everyone ordered sushi. It came out in a timely manner considering they was busy and there was only two people working the sushi area. I ordered three rolls: pink lady, samuria, and spider. The spider was my favorite. The samurai was really good too. I liked the pink lady (loved the wrapper), but I wasn't a fan of all the softness with no crunch. It was just moosh when you ate it. It says contains cucumbers, but I don't think it actually had any in it. With some crunch it would be perfect, again IMO. Everyone else liked their food too. I heard no complaints from anyone. All of the seafood was really fresh. The only issue we had was what I believe to be a forgotten order. One of the people in the group ordered first and ordered a lunch bento box. Over an hour later she still hadn't received it and was told it was because the kitchen was backed up. She ended up just having them box it up as we was leaving to take back to work with her. She didn't even get the sushi roll that came with it when everyone else got their sushi. It only makes sense that her order was never put in. I'm pretty sure she was supposed to have soup and salad with it too, which she didn't get. So other than a few service issues I have no real complaints. Definitely going back, just maybe not on...
