This is a very nice restaurant. It was my place of lunch, along with a co-worker. It has been around for years, even fire destroyed the original restaurant. They rebuilt it bigger, and better. It was very busy when we arrived, but the customers were moving steadily being seated . The parking can be an issue somewhat. If you guys get there at the busiest time. The good thing is we were greeted and seated 💺 without no delay. We had our food after a short time later. It was 🔥, and well cooked delicious omg ! The customer service was excellent 😃! We ordered the meatloaf, which is homemade. The two sides were mash potatoes, and cabbage delicious 😋 🥬. Opps, don't forget the homemade cornbread .The other order was chicken tenders, fries, and salad 🥗. We ordered delicious ice tea ☕☕ to wash down our food. They have other delicious choices for you guys. The wait staff was awesome ! If you have room for dessert the chocolate pudding, and coconut cake are both homemade 😋. If you didn't know, now you know ! You can get a full meal here quicker than some fast food places. Guess what ? You guys will be done early, and returned to work with no delay. I highly recommend Wally's Restaurant today. They will thank you 😊. You will thank them as well. I love ❤️...
Read moreGood food. Great service. Our waitress was lovely and left us smiling. Meat and 3 was less than $10 before tip. You can view the menu on their website. The regular menu stays the same. They post the daily specials each day which includes the meat and veggie/sides selections. They do have separate desserts you can buy, but they have several desserts listed that you can order as one of their sides. I got the chicken fried chicken with white gravy , mashed potatoes with brown gravy (I forgot to specify white gravy for those since I usually prefer it; the brown gravy was good though), fried okra and peach cobbler. My friend got the banana pudding as one of her sides and we split the desserts so we could try both. We both liked the peach cobbler. We weren't impressed with the banana pudding. It was ok. We were hoping for an old fashioned homemade banana pudding, but it was lighter in color than we expected and had an artificial banana flavoring taste. This was the 3rd time I have eaten in and ordered take out another time. The service is always good. The meat and veggies are always good. The veggies taste home cooked and NOT like they were just poured out of a can. I will eat there again when I am in the area when...

If you’re looking for classic country cooking just like Grandma used to make, Wally’s is the place to be! This is the kind of mom-and-pop restaurant that reminds you why homemade meals will always beat fast food.
The meatloaf was tender and full of flavor, just the way it should be. The green beans had that slow-cooked, seasoned goodness, the mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the cornbread and rolls were the perfect companions to soak up every last bite. The fried okra? Crispy, golden perfection.
It’s refreshing to see restaurants like Wally’s still thriving, serving up real, hearty meals with a side of Southern hospitality. I’ll definitely be back, and I encourage everyone to support this local gem. Places like this are what keep our communities strong and our...
