The brickhouse is one of those sports bars where you find friendship good food and cheap beer that satsifies the common and high class crowd. I find myself dancing at this particular establishment multiple times a week enjoying the free pizza and 2.25$ 16oz brickhouse brews. Their food is on par with most other sub shops but their quality is always outstanding whether its a perfectly cooked burger accompanied by some fries cooked just right or a hot sub that alwayd come a plenty of whatever meat or fillings you feel your looking to mow their chicken always deep fried just right and their nachos that could please a king, brickhouse has your back with more then reasonable pricing and a sports game in the background with their many hdtv's. The waiteress and bartenders know what you want if your a regular and accomidate me and my many friends on the daily with quick and on point service make sure to tip you filthy animals. no waiting 20 minutes for a drink like a lot of other bars in the downtown lowell area nay quick and reliable service all around. Get your wallets out and play as much keno and scratchers you can waste your hard earned dollar on as the gambling is ripe here. All in all brickhouse gets 5 out of 5 forks from the beast because youve always facilitated me and never booted me for my dancing or despicable manners. Always hit the brickhouse for your needs ill be outside in the throws of a dance smoking my death sticks and talking to long time friends making more beautiful memorys before cesseding from this fantastic conciousness....
Read moreThis was my first time coming to this Brickhouse. I had always went to the North Chelmsford one – Wow! What a difference!
The atmosphere is completely different. The building is so much bigger, and could really be considered a sports bar, I would say.
There are sooo many screens, every wall has at least six TVs. And then one wall actually has six TVs lined up in a 2 by 3 grid, and it just looks beautiful. There's an entire bar, which the North Chelmsford one does not serve alcohol at all. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and pretty damn sexy too. My brother was hitting on her and she was flirting back lol (most likely just for the tips though haha).
I don't drink, but I still had a great time. I went there to meet up with my brother and some of his friends, we stayed for about an hour and a half or two and just had a really chill time.
I didn't order anything (waitress didn't like that lol), but they actually gave out some free pizza towards the end of the night. That was pretty dope.
I definitely recommend this establishment to anybody. The crowd there was great, seemed like a lot of hipsters or maybe punk people, I don't know though I'm not great at labeling like that, but everybody pretty much kept to their own tables and groups. No craziness or fights broke out, or anything like that while I was there. So it's definitely not like a dive bar. And they had a lot to offer on the menu.
I'll definitely go again sometime and get some pizza, because that's what Brickhouse is known for and I love, and maybe try some other stuff...
Read moreI'm gonna start this by saying I haven't had their pizza - not in a long, long time anyway, so my review isn't about that. (sorry everyone lol)
Brickhouse is a pretty small unassuming locals sports bar. Tends to attract all walks of life, and it's always a lively atmosphere. Staff are awesome and while sometimes stretched a little thin (it's a bar environment, I get it) they're stellar. From the food counter to the bar everyone's happy to get you what you need and answer any questions. Small talk is great, people are usually just hangin out and it's a great time. Coming around frequently you get a little known, and coming back to someone who recognizes you and is happy to see you return is a great feeling. Pop in for lunch, grab a beer while you wait (there's somewhat heated outdoor seating, at the moment) and that's it. When life gets a little more normal, I'll be hanging out here more. In the meantime, takeout is great.
I should also add that in the last two years, all the other food options have gotten so, so much better - they were good already (standard bar fare and then some) but it's like... really, really good now. I don't know what you guys did,...
