This is definitely not your typical Starbucks coffee shop, but a great little quirky, crafty, and local oriented store. My wife and I try to come at least once a week to grab a cup of coffee, but the baked goods, local candles, and crafts keep us just browsing a little bit longer.
Visiting during the warmer months is definitely a better choice if you can. They have outdoor seating where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and people watch, as well as a "doggy window" where you can bring your four legged companions to get a special treat.
And of course the coffee is great too. All hand crafted with your typical coffee, latte, cappuccino and so on. They have a few specialties including a Mexican Mocha (my favorite) and a Maple flavored using local, real maple syrup. Seasonal coffees make the rounds as well, so it's worth it to visit throughout the year.

Read moreIt is lovely to stop in here when I'm in the area. Today was a bit disappointing when they didn't have enough cash in the drawer to break a $100. Also as I was paying the staff member said she was just going to substitute our reg coffee order with Americanos since there was 10 min of brewing and work to do before we could receive our requested drinks. We asked nicely to receive what we wanted and would wait the 10 minutes. Such a Great place and this place in particular has a nice selection of gifts and interesting items you wouldn't find in most coffee shops. Very artsy in there with a cool vibe. Once a week I go in and don't topically run into the same staff every time. 4/5 times there is good service and members who care about customer satisfaction. If you like art and funny things while getting some good coffee, def go check...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about OMHC!! My husband and I discovered them last year when we saw a sign saying they would take orders outside for those patrons who had pups with them. Fast forward a year and OMHC is our favorite local business and serves the best coffee in town!
OMHC is more than just your friendly neighborhood coffee shop; they offer goods made by local artisans, classes (both in person and virtual) and have hosted a number of community events. They are our go to place when we need a gift or caffeine pick me up. More importantly, my husband and I (and our dog, Harry!) feel we have found friends in Eileen, Craig and the rest of the OMHC crew! It is a must visit whether you are a local in town or just...
