It was our first time ordering from Chelmsford House Pizza. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. When the food was delivered, the chicken, broccoli, and ziti alfredo were on top of the French fries, BBQ chicken tenders, and fried mushrooms. It was tipped over, and the oil was split over everything. Entirely through the bottom of the bag and on the food because the heavy tray of chicken, broccoli, and ziti crushed everything underneath. I would have put the heavier item on the bottom. Once it was cleaned up, the fried mushrooms were not tasty; garlic bread was a sub roll with butter, no garlic at all. The pizza was burnt on the top, but the dough on the bottom wasn't cooked. For the chicken broccoli and ziti, you must like broccoli because it is shredded broccoli. The curly fries were good. I did call to let them know of my review. They said to let them know next time I order so they can send us something. I am now making something for dinner, which is what I was trying to avoid. This was a highly disappointing experience. A $100 order took over an hour to arrive, and when it did, every item was wrong. The food was lukewarm at best, borderline cold. I’ve given this place multiple chances over the years, but it’s clear they just don’t get it. When someone orders food, they’re HUNGRY, and it should be HOT when it arrives. My steak and cheese had more mayonnaise than steak, and my niece’s $10 spaghetti was the size of your palm—she finished it in three bites and was still hungry, so we had to make her more food.

When we called to complain, the manager offered no compensation, only attitude. Their family seems to eat there all the time, but when customers order, the service slacks off. It’s been inconsistent for far too long, and I thought I’d give it one more shot, but honestly, forget this place. You have one job: make good food. Extremely disappointed with tonight's experience. My order was place at 7:19, was supposed to be delivered at 8:04. At 8:15 I called to see if the driver couldn't find the place and was told the driver left and should be there in 2 minutes. At 8:45 I called again, he then called the driver to find where he is then told me the driver got a flat tire and is 5 minutes away. If there was a flat tire the driver should have called the shop and requested assistance with food delivery, OR call the people that ordered the food and explain the situation. Food finally arrived at 8:55, cold, soggy and missing items. A club sandwich soaked through the bottom slice and had no bacon, also asked for American cheese and it had provolone.
