This is my only review I’ve ever made of any store. I used to work at the dominos in Acton, MA for Chris (gm) and Walt (owner). My father used to order from this store every other weekend. The food was good. If it wasn’t for those first two facts I would be writing a 1 star review. Right after your CS hung up the phone while I was in the middle of politely saying goodbye I decided to let management know what was going on before more customers felt discouraged from ever calling back. This is what happened: I called and asked for a delivery. The kid who answered the phone mumbled something and then asked if I wanted pick up or delivery. I could hear his frustrated tone through the phone maybe he just needs some time off. I told him my address and felt bad that I was upsetting this guy and decided I would only order 1 thing so he wouldn’t have to be so miserable putting my order into the system. As soon as I told him my address, all the sudden he gets super excited because I love in Lowell. He tells me that “we don’t deliver there sir!” Then he keeps talking over me as I try to explain I live 2 miles away. And then he hangs up the phone while I’m in the middle of apologizjng. Now I’m wondering what it is that I did that made him so exuberant. When I was working at dominos in acton, not once in my life did I hang up on someone, and yet in 15 seconds of trying to place an order of my own I get hung up on. And I know this guy works at the Lowell store too, because the only reason I wanted to order from chelsford is because last time I ordered from Lowell this same asshat answered the phone and I decided I would never call Lowell back because of this rude and unperfessional person. So now I’m wondering if I can even order dominos anywhere for delivery without having to talk to this kid on the phone because I can’t do online...
Read moreFirstly, the food left the shop after the estimated delivery time. Then, while I was watching the tracker, I saw the driver stop on the side of the road a few miles away for 20 mins!! I sat at my door, waiting to make sure I would definitely get my food because it was already late. However, when the tracker showed that the driver was 500 ft away from my complex, the tracker changed its status to delivered even though NOBODY pulled into the lot. I am very sure that the driver ate our food, and when I called the restaurant to figure it out and ask them what happened, they refused to hear me out when I told them I saw the driver stop on the side of the road for 20 mins, and said it would be delivered in 5 minutes (which it wasn't). After 10 minutes, I just asked them to remake the order, and I would pick it up this time instead. I also asked for a refund, but they said they couldn't do that. We ended up picking up our freshly made food, which further makes me suspicious that the driver ate our food. Do not get delivery from this place. The driver might eat your food, and then they won't own up to anything. Better to not offer delivery than have a driver who potentially eats the customer's food in my opinion, or have the driver work a different position...
Read moreSo my boyfriend just got off of the phone with them and that place is a joke. For one they put him on hold for more than 10 minutes. For two they told him he couldn’t get a pizza till 8:30 pm (it was 4:42 when he called) because they were behind 300 pizzas. How is that possible? I thought Dominos had a 30 minutes or less promise no matter when you placed an order. For three, we were promised a free pizza and cinnamon bread twist on October 25th because the order of cinnamon bread twist were awful and they had no cinnamon on them (yes, we took pictures of it). So when we called, they told us to call with the same number any time we place another order and we would get the free pizza and cinnamon twists. Well a week later we call and now they told us that it has been too long (it has been one week)! And it isn’t valid now. The guy who told us to call any time did not tell us we had to call a day or two later to get the order put in, its not like we order pizza every other day.
