I’d say KJ’s is pretty average. From the food to the drinks to the service, nothing particularly stands out, but it doesn’t disappoint either. They do have a solid selection of flavored coffee beans, which is where they shine a bit. The coffee itself, however, isn’t as strong as I’d like—it’s just not bold enough for my taste, but that could be a personal preference.
The bagels, sandwiches, and pastries are fine, but nothing to write home about. They do the job when you’re in the mood for a quick bite, but they don’t exactly knock your socks off. The prices are mid-range—not as cheap as Dunkin’ across the street, but not as fancy or expensive as Euphoria a few blocks away, though you can’t really compare them directly.
There are a few booths if you want to sit down, and the service is quick, so it’s a good option if you’re in a rush or just want a casual place to relax. Overall, KJ’s is a solid choice, but not somewhere you’d go out of your way for unless you’re a fan of their...
Read moreGreat little place, very pretty interior atmosphere, great menu, specialty espresso drinks and even caprese sandwiches like in Italy lol! Love itttt. A really good spot for breakfast sandwich pickup or dining in (you'd order at the counter or on the phone) and they're open until 3 too. They have mini treats and good, affordable prices for everything, which I also love. They have almond milk and oat milk alternatives, cider doughnuts, cupcakes, brownies, Blondies, sandwiches and wraps, hash browns, and even bagels - including seasonal apple cider bagels. The atmosphere resembles a warmer version of Starbucks, or a Starbucks mixed with a North End cafe if you've ever seen one. Very relaxing and aesthetically nice. I also believe they are pretty close to the bike trail, which is great. Totally recommend, and I was shocked they only had 10 other reviews. Try it and...
Read moreI was in the area for a weekday meeting and needed to find a coffee shop that served a decent breakfast sandwich and beverage, but also be able to access the wifi, sit, and catch up on some emails. My go-to is usually Starbucks, but this place was more convenient. I ordered the "Tom Brady" breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel and I also ordered an ice coffee with almond milk. Both were excellent and the staff were all quite friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of gluten free foods and I love the fact that they offer a variety of non-dairy milk options. It's always great to support local small businesses and I was happy to have found this gem. I'll definitely stop by here again when the opportunity...
