Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Chelsea

I have never had a problem with this location until tonight. I always buy pickup online as this location is right down the street. For some reason tonight, the onllne report showed Justin taking and making the order. When the website showed my order ready, I drove down to pick it up. I was told that the order had not been started. I waited in my car and then went inside after an appropriate time to pick the order up. Justin was at the counter and I asked him about the system. I told him that it showed that he made the order and placed in the oven. He said he didn't know anything about it and he wasn't working the line. He stated that they order just goes into the computer automatically. I am not familiar with how your system works but something about that doesn't seem like the truth. Anyway, I know something happened out of the normal so I will continue using this location unless this becomes the normal. I am not looking for a discount but just an explanation. Food was good and quick, too. The order wasn't exactly right. Pizza could've used a little more cheese, but maybe that's just how Domino's does it (it had been years since I had their pizza). The wife and one daughter got pasta dishes. While I had a sandwich (which was surprisingly good), my other daughter had a plain cheese pizza (which, to me, seemed a little dry, and the cheese was really thin). The garlic twists were good, but I had ordered a cheese and sauce dip that was supposed to come with some twists. What we got was lots of twists and no dip. This wouldn't have really mattered so much, except I had ordered more garlic knots for every to share with the dip (which was supposed to only come with two) but we ended up with a ton of bread. I told Domino's about it, but they didn't offer anything like a refund or a replacement, which was surprising, but nonetheless, all the food we had was good and the girl at the counter was very nice. I ordered through the app. I live within a 3 mile radius of the store. After the pizza came out of the oven it took 20 minutes before I called the store asking when to expect it. The manager told me their delivery person would be back at the store shortly, but that it would take still 20 minutes to get my food.

When I told them to cancel the delivery fee and tip that I would come get it myself, he said he would have to cancel the entire order and I’d have to repay in the store (aka go inside). I told him to just forget the whole thing.

This place has done this so many times! I deleted my app MONTHS ago for this same issue. Came home after a weekend of traveling and just wanted to stay in and binge on pizza.
