Johnny's Pizza — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

I ordered or used take out here for long time no issues til my special needs teen ordered once and didn’t know to tip. As I called next for a delivery I got reemed out because my son neglected to tip. I didn’t know til owner Johnny told me after venting, I went in person to apologize and over tipped after serveral times out of respect. I know these delivery people work hard for tips. So I over accommodated I felt so bad, on a regular ordering basics had no issues then today tried place order he said for delivery I said yes, Johnny screamed at me without reason or explanation and hung up, I was in shock as a good resident customer at 1st thought he was kidding, tried call him ask what happened he screamed “ DONT YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND I DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS ‘ and slammed the phone after a 2nd time of request of why refusal of delivery, I spoke my special needs teen son he did tell me he ordered without my knowledge he had his own money and he said about 15. Bill he gave driver 20. And said keep the change , his confused as well. He said no issues. So mr Johnny I apologize if was not enough tip and I’d be glad send in or drop off more money. I’m sorry your having a bad day, we will honor your request and never order again, ,just thought be nice if could’ve spoke in a perfessional manner and even parent to parent if we don’t know if an issue or if our kids run short forgetting taxes and delivery charges on top or just don’t know ethics of tipping properly , then how are the parents suppose to teach the kids. I pray you have more patience when dealing with your...

Where to even begin...

We found this gem on a "I'm not cooking" day. I am so very pleased we chose Johnny's.

This place has been fantastic from the initial phone call to our now 5th order.

The front of the house staff always answers the phone promptly and very politely. They read back the order and make sure everything is correct, without rushing you off the phone, even when I've heard it being a mad house in the background.

The menu is just right. Not TOO many options, but NOT lacking. They have everything you could want from a pizza joint. Pizza, calzones, wings, hot sandwiches and than some.

The prices are great for the amount of food you get and the quality is unrivaled from what we've tried in a 20 mile radius. You can tell that Johnny's staff really puts time and attention into the food they serve. I would add pictures, but the food is too delicious and we never take the time to photograph it. Not once have we had a meal from them and thought " meh it was better last time.". The constancy is what keeps us coming back.

Delivery is always on time and never been more than 45 minutes. Food comes hot and fresh!

I would also like to add a personal opinion.. I have gone on the journey to find the best Cheese Steak in the area, and the Johnny's cheese steak has dominated all, hands down.

If you have not eaten here, do yourself the favor and give it a go.

Writing this now because Im upset. Litterally just got home I live 2 min away from Johnny's. My wife called ordered $50 worth of food including 30 breaded wings. I was right next to my wife when she ordered. I just talked to the owner, told him they made a mistake and gave us regualur wings not breaded. He said they don't have any breaded wings so its your mistake not ours. I said no I wouldn't have ordered if you said that when we ordered I cant eat these. Told him id bring back right now they are all there Im not trying to get free food. He said no why should I lose money for your mistake, once again I explained that it wasn't our mistake the person who took the order said okay when we said 30 breaded wings so he made the mistake. Besides that the pizza was good, just letting you know the owner is cheap and will try to get over on you if a mistake is made. Ive been going here for 30 years but...
