Hardee's — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I have never written a review before of a restaurant, let alone a fast food chain. I didn't see the point or want to be spiteful. However, the Hardee's at 1506 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322 is the most disappointing, disgusting place I have ever eaten. I work from home and have eaten there on and off the last several years for a quick lunch; this is the closest Hardee's to me. I suspected I'd gotten food poisoning from a lunch there and didn't go back for 6 months. I tried again today, bringing lunch back to my neighbors. The burgers were overcooked, the BBQ on them hard and dry. The iced tea was watered down even as they passed it through the window. I asked twice for sauce for the chicken tenders because they've always been bad at that. The kid at the window who needs to brush his hair and wash his hands smirked and said he included ranch dressing but did not. He sat the fries in the bag tipped over so they and the grease from them was all over the bottom of the bag by the time I got home. They've always been bad about including napkins, straws, ketchup or sauces. And, you knew not to get a milkshake there as they are always watery, never fill the cup and are often warmish. Now, the level of incompetence is so grossly complete it cannot be just a bad day for this store. They rate less than no stars. I will never eat there again. I am passing this on to everyone I know, who also grew up here in Great Bridge. Mostly, because in addition to wasting money, I looked up their health code violations from Pilot Online just now. The food here is pretty good but inconsistent. However this review is more about the staff. Its clear which people care and which don’t. A worker named Christina in particular has to be the worst employee I’ve ever met at any establishment. I come here often and have observed her behavior on a multitude of occasions. Shes extremely rude, sassy, and aggressive, also yells at her coworkers constantly for seemingly little things or sometimes nothing at all. Everyone around her looks stressed and angry; seems like a nightmare to work here. Employers please consider who you’re hiring here because it does effect the experience of customers and your other poor workers. I've been meaning to write this review for the past month. I have been in customer service for almost 30 years. I know the importance of it, and I'm thrilled when I receive excellent service! I love your employee named Maria. I have been to this location a few times, but this is the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Maria. She was a breath of fresh air compared to the service I usually receive at any fast food restaurant. Maria was very friendly and courteous. I could immediately tell that she enjoys her job. I can't remember how long she's worked there, but it's been quite some time. You have an asset working for you. I work in Virginia Beach.
