Jackie Chen — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Meant to drop a review yesterday, but got tied up. Anyways, the fam was craving some Chinese food and wanted to give this spot a try. We ordered: Crab Rangoon, Beef Lo Mein, Teriyaki Beef, BBQ Spare Ribs, House Special Fried Rice, Orange Chicken Combo Plate

Pros: All of the food was flavorful and not greasy. In fact, they even put a couple of items to absorb the grease from the Crab Rangoon and Beef Teriyaki. Lo Mein was not overly moist or greasy. Again, flavorful! Staff was very friendly.

Cons: Was given a timeline for when the food would be done, but it extended. I had to run somewhere else real quick, so it worked out and wasn't that big of a deal to me, but is something to consider. The extension wasn't anything crazy either and was accurate (rather than being told 20 minutes and waiting 45, what they said was on point).

I'd recommend and will be going back in the future. The food is good and I've been to some joints that had some chloriny kind of taste in the Lo Mein (for example), which puts me off immediately. This place didn't have that. Go get their food.

This place is exactly what I expect out of take out Chinese. Good food, fast service and exactly the amount of extra duck sauces that you ask for, no more no less; including the ones in the bag. These people are true American entrepreneurs. I've seen people giving bad reviews about the rude little girl behind the counter, but she is my absolute favorite! That is the type of honesty that you can trust, never listen to the haters. Besides she is like 10 years old (she may be older now, I've been eating here for years). I didn't have a service industry job at that age and if I did I wouldn't have had the guts to have a blatent attitude about it. Well i had called in a order of just 4 chicken teriyaki sticks and 1 egg roll for carry out. He called back 2 minutes after and asked if its 4 orders or 1 order i said one just for lunch. I came in picked it up and ate it is great food. 2 hours later he had called again i missed his phone call due to my business. I called back in about 5 min and got absolutely cussed out and yelled at for not picking up a order?? I just hung up after trying to explain i already picked up my order and even tipped because he couldn't understand that at all. Good food whoever the guy was terrible and needs to keep...
