I was actually impressed with this little hole in the wall. I honestly expected mediocre at best, but what I ended up getting was the big "O" in my mouth. The food was extremely tasty. I had their combo plate with pancakes, corn beef hash, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes were beyond delicious!!! I typically like to get the names of people who serve us at restaurants but this time I forgot. The guy at the register was more than patient with us ordering because we kept mixing up our orders with other things on the menu. Typically people get extremely irritated or agitated, but not this guy. He assured that everything was OK and even laughed when I told him that I bet we were his most confusing customers of the day. I highly recommend this place if your in the mood for some good old fashioned breakfast, you certainly won't regret it. One last thing, I forgot to take a few pictures of the food, but I did get a picture of the menu simply because I couldn't find a menu online.

With all the choices where you could spend your money for breakfast, it puzzles me about "Good" Customer service. It's not hard to understand that you're not the only patron when you walk in on a Sunday morning. But why is it so difficult for the simplest of tasks or request to be met such as extra napkins (1 given) or seating? If you don't want patrons to sit at a table for 6 then you should change your seating sign to say "Please Wait To Be Seated". To some people the food quality is the only thing that matters. I like my paid meals served "Hot", NOT WARM! I always try to measure my visit from the time I walk in through the door to the time I leave. That's what makes the best experience. Sad to say this place Falls Way short! Spend your money elsewhere. ~V.

Okay let me start by saying you can't use a credit or debit card here. Cash only, there is an ATM but it charges you a $2 service fee. There's not much parking in the front of the building so you have to park in the auxiliary lot behind the McDonalds (pretty difficult to get to if it's your first time). The waiting area when you walk in is very tight. Especially on a Sunday around 11. Now the meal... The food was very good, seasoned just right but the portions are small. What was supposed to be 2 eggs looked like 1 and the pancakes were kind of small. I probably won't go back because I can get the same quality food elsewhere and won't have to pay cash.

I purchased the pork chop lunch combo & it was definitely worth the money! It’s actually 2 pork chops (1 center cut & 1 assorted) & 2 sides w/cornbread. Sorry I ate before I could get the pic lol but the pork chops are ALWAYS good!! I don’t like to smother them in gravy bc they can stand alone! The yams were good & cornbread excellent… HOWEVER… the potatoes as u can see in the pic were half burnt! Other than that, they would’ve gotten 5-stars but I will definitely be returning! They need help (if anyone looking for a job) that’s the only reason they are closing at 3pm now 😔

Another place that my mother and I have been passing by for years. We have friends and family that have been. So today was the day. We were greeted and told to sit where we wanted. My mother had been asking for what we call real fried fish. She got the Croaker breakfast with home fries ,scrambled eggs, and toast. Amazing. The fish was fried just right. Not to mention that it was two huge fish!!! I got a combination breakfast smoked sausage, two eggs over medium, home fries, and toast. The eggs were perfect. We Will Be Back!

First time at pankakes and things, staff was courteous and welcoming. We sat as we pleased and ordered refreshments. I ordered the western omelet with cheese, in lieu of toast I had biscuits with a side of sausage gravy. The omelet was cooked right and the cheese was a bit hard to find. Home style hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. Sausage gravy was a bit runny and I was not used to the huge chunks of sausage. Pankakes were fluffy as they should be with the right texture. I'll give them a try at lunch time stay tuned.
