Today was the first time I've ever been to this location. I called my order in,it was 2 sandwiches and a wrap, super pleasant on the phone. I get there to pick up the order, ask if I can pay for wrap separately, still no problem. Pulls the wrong order first, I tell her what my name is again and what the order is. Then she pulls what I think is the correct order. I paid for the wrap. Then she rang in the other 2 sandwiches and they were incorrect. This is where it all goes wrong. Ok, stuff happens. But then Briana storms away and slams a cupboard and very abruptly (and loud) states "somebody took the order ALL wrong. I need to take the entire order again" I've worked customer service jobs (management included) for over 20 years. I was totally taken aback, and felt embarrassed. I did not get loud with her when stating the order was incorrect, I just told her what the order should be. It did not warrant this behavior, at all. She walked away as I was trying to finish with what the bread on one needed to be and the wrap was sub ranch. Thankfully, Kaiya and Kiyah we're very receptive and had great customer service. I walked to the back to ask if those modifications had been placed on the order, they weren't. They made sure my order was right. When I went back to the front when my order was ready, Briana then very unprofessionally and in a condescending tone asked if they were labeled. We can distinguish, quite easily, what the sandwiches are. At this point, I'm already late getting back to work from my lunch break and she just seemed to be on a power trip. I was so disappointed and felt horrible for all the other employees. I'm thankful for Kaiya and Kiyah. At least the food ended up being right. I was disheartened by this experience and...
Read moreThe sandwiches here are always great, and I preferred them over all their competitors till my experience last week. I stopped in around 5 pm or so Sunday evening and ordered my sandwich, then immediately noticed they put less meat on it than normal. The staff was preparing several sandwiches for a phone-in order and I was watching them work while I waited for my order. This is when I noticed the guy adding toppings do something I've never seen before: he removed tomatoes with oregano, salt, pepper and vinegar and placed them back into the pan of precut tomatoes, then removed the lettuce and did the same with it. When I asked if the staff normally removed toppings from a sandwich and placed them back into the bins they could only reply with ridiculous stammering and clueless looks. Why wouldn't you throw those toppings away and start over? Are they doing so poorly financially that they need to save every scrap of lettuce and slice of tomato that they can? I also asked what would happen if they accidentally put those tomatoes onto a sandwich for someone who was allergic to another ingredient they had touched. They had no logical response. Whoever the manager is at this location needs to retrain their employees, as they don't seem to know some of the basic rules of working in...
Read moreWe order a big takeout from work here last week and it's the first time I've eaten here since they opened back in 2010 according to my previous review.
Honestly we were looking for something fast and close by due to the training sessions we were locked into last week. As we were checking the menu online and looking into catering we discovered we could place our orders through the website (catering needs to be at least 24 hours in advance). Not only can you select your sandwich (hot or cold) but you can also customize the toppings and condiments as well. In a matter of minutes we the order in for about 12-13 people and we picked up about 45 minutes later.
We paid online when submitting our order and when we arrived they provided us with to large paper bags full of sandwiches. Each sandwich was individually wrapped with the person's name on it. As far as I know everyone enjoyed their meals, I heard no complaints. My particular order was a cold club sub and it was delicious and made exactly as request. The shop did...
