Los Primos Mexican Grill (Hanbury) — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Went here for a work lunch. It wasn't the greatest Mexican food ever. It's edible and decent but not amazing.

The server was efficient but not polite. He was impatient and didn't like to answer questions about the food. I had a question about one of the ingredients in a dish I was interested in and he kept telling me "yeah, it's good" but I was trying to ask about what was in the dish and the guy was having none of it. So I told him to give us more time because clearly I wasn't going to get something I wasn't sure if I was gonna like and the guy made a big show about being unhappy with the time I needed to decide. That didn't make me feel good and we should've just walked out right then and there. But it was a work lunch.

So I stayed, ate mediocre food, and then had trouble standing up. The booths are very rigid and I got all stiff and even several days later, my back still hurts from that booth. I know that some chairs bother me but I've never had a seat give me this much physical pain, even days later. Safe to say, I'm not...

This was my 1st time trying this place & I am extremely disturbed. I placed an online pickup, got to the restaurant to pick up my order & the young lady at the register looked at me and turned her head. She did not acknowledge me at all, not even knowing that I’m in the holiday spirit and ready to give a major tip.

Long story short, my nephew found hair in his quesadilla after he began eating. I took the food back inside to MADISON. She immediately took the food to the back and said she will give me another one. There was no acknowledgement about the hair and she didn’t give me the option for a refund. When she came back I told her I would like a refund b/c my family was disgusted by that point. Madison was not apologetic about the situation and very dismissive. I did receive a refund but it wasn’t about the money at the end of the day. I am a honest reviewer and that was my experience.

Maybe I will try the restaurant out in a few months. Until then 2 stars for poor Customer...

Dined/meeting at 5:00 on Aug. 8. It was three of us. Atmosphere nice. The initial waiter was polite, patient and professional. Meals were delivered by someone else. And my order was wrong and just okay. After we ate, we continued drinking our drinks and were talking. Waiter left bill. And a few moments later we were approached by another waiter advising us we needed to leave. That It was his table, I assume as long as we remained in his section, the less money he would make. I hope the host in our party did not leave him a penny for a tip. The restaurant wasn't full.There were other empty seats. In house set up, procedures, etc. shouldn't have any impact on customer’s dining experience. I didn't respond because I was a guess, and I wasn't paying.
