I am a huge Starbucks lover and utilize my app to order ahead about 98.9% of the time. This morning, I order my drinks in the app, app says the drinks will be ready 12 minutes later. Twelve minutes later I pull up to the drive through kiosk, tell them I am there, and the lady asks me if the app notified me that my drinks were ready. I told her "my app has never done that. Chick Fil A does, but not Starbucks. The app said the drinks would be ready at 8:44am" I pull to the window. She proceeds to ask me to pull out of the line and get back in the drive through line to come around again, as there are so many mobile orders that my drink is not ready yet and the people behind me that just ordered at the kiosk need to pick up their drinks. I asked her to verify that the people that just ordered their drinks at the kiosk will get their drinks before me even though I ordered my drink 15 minutes ago in the mobile app. She said yes, that is correct. I'm not sure if this is the new standard, but to me, the drinks should be made in the order in which they come in. I was SHOCKED that she asked me to get in the back of the like so that people who ordered 38 seconds ago could get their drinks. Read moreThis has to be the worse Starbucks ever!! The staff that work there are so rude and unprofessional. This has to trickle down from the manager. She works the early shift and acts as if she is bothered by having to be there and actually take your order. We go in the afternoon as well and the cashier has an attitude, then you walk over to the barista and she seems like she is miserable and does not want to be there. The drinks don't even seem to taste as good because the whole experience leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
We have always liked the Starbucks inside Farm Fresh off Mount Pleasant and Centreville better but it is a little father drive. Tried to order a dairy free steamer via drive-through, making it clear the soy and no whip cream requests were for a severe dairy allergy. The order came entirely wrong, with whipped cream, a frappe instead of a steamer, which they said they would redo. Reminded the attendant that the drink must be both soy and contain no whipped cream, and it came back once more with whipped cream. A third redo arrived in a small kid’s cup, and when asked about it, the attendant said it was because they had to remake the drink twice. This was a very humiliating experience that made me feel like an honest health concern was neither being taken seriously nor respected.
Another item in the order also came wrong and had to be remade. In summary, the service was sloppy. And in this case, that sloppiness could’ve resulted in a fatal...
