Firstly they closed the dining room at minimum an hour early, so I could not walk in. Since I’m out of town for a few days, my vehicle is a utility bucket truck, which does not fit in the drive through.
I ordered curbside and waited. And waited. And waited even more. Fed up I knocked on the door just to be ignored.
I’m fed up at that point and walk to the drive through window and wait for the current vehicle to leave.
The drive through woman immediately told me that “We don’t do walk ups” multiple times. I’m trying to explain I have a curbside order and have waited enough.
She demands I go through the drive through and doesn’t want to speak to me. I have to talk over her to say “My truck is a bucket truck and won’t fit”
Finally she’s willing to unlock the door for me, and asked me to walk all the way around the building again. I obliged.
When I reached the door, a totally different employee appears from the back, someone I haven’t seen yet through the windows while waiting. He decides to point the direction in the drive through and walk away.
I knocked on the door louder than previously, and pointed to the drive through girl, as it is the only thing I can do since I’m on the opposite side of the drive through window again.
The girl must have told him my issue, and he brings me my order after I’d say an additional 2 minutes. He’s telling me “we are short staffed” all I said is “there are other issues too” and he repeats him self over and over “we’re short staffed”
I walk off telling him that the other order in his hands is “probably for that gentleman” and point at the car that has been waiting since before I arrived and ordered.
I walk back to my bucket truck and have a full blown conversation with the man in question about said complaints, all before his order arrives! The same man who handed me my order finally brings his out, remember he’s been waiting even longer than myself.
It doesn’t need said, but I’ll say it anyway. YES the food was COLD.
Fire the bad employees, hire decent ones, and pay them what they’re worth! Proper customer service REQUIRES having people at the counter waiting for customers, or you never grow!
And why the hell can’t I be handed my already paid for meal through the window if I walk up?
Is it for theft? No that can’t be, guns are capable of being put in a car too!
What the hell kind of place is...
Read more….as much as I 🥰 love this one particular McDonalds for its well prepared hot food, always correct bagging my orders, and great customer service there are 2 regular occurrences that I dislike very much when I go to the drive-thru after 9:30 pm any night of the week. 1. Late night the drive thru service gets very slow. Idk if it’s bc of cars lining up all at once and the staff can’t handle a rush, causing the drive thru line to get backed up all the way around to the front of the store and blocking the entrance from Victory Blvd. I can’t believe ppl actually wait in lines that long. Just last night I had to drop out of the line, 3 cars back from the menu/speaker, after waiting 20+ minutes w/ my air conditioning running. Those 20+ minutes feel much longer when ur super hungry. 2. Not last night, but most of the time, the pan handlers take advantage of us ppl stuck in these long drive thru lines. These pan handlers are very persistent, too. They will walk right up to ur window and give u that “please help” look that is so hard to deny, but it’s illegal to donate $$ to them. It’s jus sad to see so many young ppl pan handling when they look healthy enough to seek employment or jus work at that McDonalds instead of begging for money from strangers and all the other risks that come from getting too close to someone’s personal space while they are sitting in the drivers seat prob already PO’d from waiting in the drive thru line for so long. Maybe the McDonald’s mgmt could give the pan handlers a free combo meal and ask them to leave bc it is very unsettling to me having these kids hit me up for $$ just bc I’m stuck waiting in...
Read moreWe are traveling and unfamiliar with the area. We got here yesterday and got something quick after a long day of driving. I ordered 4 meals and I got only the sandwiches and didn't realize until we got to our hotel that they didn't give me ANY of our 4 fries. I ordered through door dash today after a super long day and late day, not realizing it was from the same McDonalds. Ordered a big Mac with EXTRA Mac sauce and got one without any sauce at all. We didn't get our drink either. We didn't get any of the sauces we ordered for the nuggets. There was no ketchup or sauce in the cheeseburgers. Oh and the fries had no salt. I don't usually do these reviews, but I am so disappointed in this McDonalds because we have had some long days and places like this are supposed to provide a quick bite and obviously superb customer service like any other establishment. This McDonalds has failed miserably. The manager(s) has a lot of work to do with themselves as managers and with the employees. If this is a franchised location, the owner needs to seriously improve the mediocrity of this place. I have no idea how to post pictures on this, but I have pictures of the poorly made Big Mac. Very...
