DO NOT COME HERE. THE WORST LOCATION IN HAMPTON ROADS BY A LONG SHOT. Incompetent workers. I asked for the secret menu item, a chicken cordon blue wrap. The young, mixed girl at the front didn’t know what I was talking about (even though I’ve been to every other location and have “amazingly” been able to order this particular wrap.) I diverted and didn’t care that much. I placed my order, ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of chips. Well, the order comes out and my side item wasn’t there. The young, incompetent worker proceeded to argue with me and claimed that “the quesadilla didn’t come with chips.” Funny, at EVERY OTHER LOCATION I’ve been able to get a side item of choice, with ZERO problem. She proceeded to argue some more, and didn’t have an explanation. The other worker came out and started being extremely combative with me. They had the biggest attitudes and were argumentative with both my mother and I. Instead of fixing the issue, they argued. These two little girls need to be terminated immediately and or have a little heart to heart meeting on what “customer service” is all about! Apparently the quesadilla doesn’t come with the standard salsa I receive at every other Tropical Smoothie location, either. Read moreI thought I had a bad experience but once I got in to google to leave a bad review, I found out so many others also had bad experience. I had to wait 5 minutes at the register for them to take my order and they were gonna make me wait if I didnt say anything about it. They didnt prepare my order and made me wait 25 minutes wasting my whole lunch time. Please note I was the only one in there and 4 people working . When I got to the register I said excuse me and no one wanted to talk to me, I said it loudly and still no response and when I said Cancel my order and give me my money back. Then I had someone get out from the back and refund my money in the mean time they said my smoothie is ready. Btw my food is still not ready. Being the only one in the place and not being able get my food served in 25 minutes I would say intentional. If you dont need this job or dont care about the customer then dont so this job. Because eventually this trouble would escalate with someone whois not as patient as I am. When I asked to speak with a supervisor girl said her name is Tina and she is not gonna do anything about it. I said ok then I would call corporate office. They are yet to call me and I will tell them all about it. Do not waste your money in this store because I wont trust them...
Read moreI come to this location all the time, however today I came with my dad we ordered 3 smoothies and food. One for each of us and the 3rd for my grandmother at home. My first smoothie "Kiwi quencher" which i asked and payed for extra yogurt in, taste straight WATER. Not to mention i worked at tropical smoothie so I know how smoothies should taste. I told the lady my smoothie was not good and politely asked for a different smoothie. I even offered to pay the difference she told me she had to ask her "boss" she then came back and said she can only "fix" the smoothie. I stated i don't want it and if i can't get a different one that i will take a refund and for my first smoothie that was payed in CASH. and pay for the second. she then said "i have to get my boss to do a refund" and continued arguing with me over his policy and protocol which i never asked. I guess she got tired of arguing and then finally says "i'll just remake the smoothie for you myself" with an attitude.. THATS ALL I ASKED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE.
