I Don't Know Sports Grille — Restaurant in Chester

The PLUS - They have some amazing local bands and good space for it. If you like live music , this place should be on your watch list. The BAD - I have been here a few times only when live music is playing..so my review is based on those nights. Service has been pretty bad for me and wife Everytime. I have friends who absolutely refuse to return because of the service alone. Getting served at the bar takes an act of congress...And will take 15 plus minutes most of the time (last night one drink order was over 15, the other was a ln acceptable 5) Ordering food....be prepared to wait 45 min to an hour. I typically have to beg a bar tender at the hour mark to check on my food..it is then brought out stone cold obviously sitting in the kitchen a good while. Maybe it's bad luck, but bartenders are frequently just pretty rude..I watched one last night get shitty with a customer who simply asked "I ordered 45 minutes ago, can you check on our food". After some back and forth and the suggestion of a refund by the bar tender, the customer took a refund and walked out. Customer likely gone forever. This seems typical and is unfortunate. I honestly believe they are loosing a ton of money by what appears to be always short on staff...maybe they just cant get help? Again, this is on nights with live bands. Anyway..on band nights..enjoy the tunes, support local artist, but be prepared to wait for everything, order two drinks at a time if you don't want to loose an hour standing at the bar, and just know that is the price you'll pay to hear good live...

Tried this place for lunch with a couple co-workers. Started out good, place was dead, only one other table occupied. Waiter came right over and took drink order and those arrived quickly. Then it derailed. Took an extraordinary amount of time for the food to arrive and it came out piecemeal. I ordered the BBQ sandwich and it was a huge sandwich but was tasteless and had no BBQ sauce on it. Fries were decent. I was halfway through my sandwich when my co-workers Mac n cheese side arrived then his chicken tenders a minute later. They were sizable and everything was good. He was well underway eating when other co-workers food finally arrived, a turkey wrap with fries. By now we had been there 40 minutes and the one dish that required no real cooking arrives. Again the place was dead. We had to get our food to go. I think they need to work on their quality rather than try to overwhelm with portion size. Doubt will try this...

I absolutely love this place, I came in as a visitor, staff was helpful, welcoming, the atmosphere was so vibrant and the people there were crazy friendly and super diverse. I will definitely be returning for the fun I had. Buttttt… to the 3 stars…

The smell is like someone threw up weeks ago and it wasn’t properly cleaned. The bar tender was inefficient. She was all over the place, made her super busy, but in able to keep up with a demand and a good product. My drinks were crazy watered down, she didn’t measure anything, and the over all cleanliness was not there. She has great potential, but is probably killing the bars income. If you got away from the bar it smelled better. I feel for the girl cuz she was nice. But my glass was empty for a while. My food took forever, and was very evidently under a heater for a while. I will be going again, but I suggest just getting...
