This is a comment for this location from my wife. No need re-writing it because my wife, kids, and I was there that night:
I would like to share my concerns with this location. When we arrived, we noticed that this location was not busy for it being Memorial Day weekend. My daughter and I, went to the bathroom. The regular stall was filthy dirty and there was toilet paper all over the floor. So, we had to use the handicap stall, which had toilet paper on the floor but it was cleaner than the regular stall. In addition there was no toilet paper in either stall. We had to use paper towels to wipe ourselves. My son went to the men's bathroom. There was no soap in the dispenser and no paper towels in the bathroom. So, when we got out, we alerted the staff to these issues and nothing was done. My son went back to the bathroom several times and informed us that there was no soap and paper towels still in the men's restroom.
Our waitress seemed friendly until I asked to taste the Daytona Beach sauce. She then developed an attitude like she didn't want to bring out a sample of the sauce stating that, "It's really hot!" I just wanted to insure that the sauce was the same sauce we had at a different Hooters location.
We made our order and when the food arrived, we ran into several issues. My Daytona Beach wings were burnt to the point where a majority of them were black as coal on one side. I asked the waitress that was assisting, our waitress, "Would you eat this?" I showed her the wings, and her response was, "No!" So, I asked for them to be re-made. At this pointed, our curly fries came to the table. They were barely warm, like they been sitting in the window waiting for our wings to be cooked. At this point, we asked to speak to a manager.
It took the manager almost 10 minutes to come to our table. She offered an apology and to take my wings and the curly fries off our bill. She had them remake the curly fries.
When the wings came back to the table they were a little burnt but I wasn't going to send them back again. Our curly fries was hot this time. However, when my husband was eating his General Tso wings, the meat was dry and overcooked.
We had no more issues until our check came to the table. We had ordered 20 Daytona Beach wings, but was charged for 35. When we asked about it, our waitress said she had to put in each individual wings into the P.O.S system. We understood that, but we were still being overcharged even though we already ran into issues with our service thus far. The response from the waitress was that the manager just removed the charge from the bill because, "We are about to close!" We didn't mind the extra upcharge for the Daytona wings, but we weren't going to pay for extra wings we didn't order and/or that was taken off our bill.
We don't go to Hooters every week but we do like your wings. We feel this location needs training at all levels. They are definitely lacking something at this location. I had a taste for wings that night and chose your establishment. My husband and I came home that night very unsatisfied even after spending over $70.
What will you do to...
Read moreWhere to begin with this one!!! When I walked in the door, the manager was dealing with a customer that was upset over their bill. Myself and another customer stood there for 8 minutes without even being acknowledged ( I should’ve left then ). He never said hello, just grabbed a waitress and said please seat them. Finally seated and the waitress took my order about 10 minutes later. It took 15 minutes for my beer to arrive ( the place was not busy at all ). Fifteen minutes after my beer, my buffalo shrimp arrive, and they were cold. A hour and 10 minutes after my initial order, my wings and tenders arrive. The wings looked overcooked, and were. The tenders taste like burnt ash. There are two waitresses, a bar tender, a manager and two cooks working. For the amount of people in the place, that should be plenty of people. Wow! I just bit into a raw wing! I am writing this as I am sitting here. Nobody is running food, the bar tender is pouring beer and letting them sit. She could stop chatting with regulars and take help the wait staff. So I just left and my waitress said not to worry about paying. That was the only positive thing about the visit. I would fire everyone but the two waitresses, and they need to be trained properly. The cooks are slow and sending out poor quality food. The bartender is lazy and no supportive of the wait staff. She should know better than to let beer sit in the bar for 10 minutes or more waiting to be picked up ( I know because I watched mine get poured and sit ). And the manager is absolutely clueless in how to run a staff and keep people and orders moving. I watched multiple people complain, overheard the manager telling two customers that their 2-go order sat in the window so long that the food was cold. Hooter’s needs to shut the doors on this location because it’s pathetic. Damn I still can’t get that ash taste out of my mouth! Gross. I’m not a smoker and it tastes like an ashtray smells. DO...
Read moreI have no idea where to start because it's simply horrible If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would absolutely give it to this place it is easily the worst place I have ever step foot into. When we walked in it took them about 10 minutes to greet us and get us sat which is to be expected because it was busy. It quickly went downhill. After being sat we started to pay attention to the surroundings. I noticed food being ran to the wrong tables drinks not being full, dirty tables throughout. I thought maybe they are a new staff and still learning. I get it everywhere is understaffed and most are in need of extra help. However, drinks were brought out by our server Teresa quickly. We ordered a few minutes later and she read our orders back to us and proceeded to put them in. We sat for about 90 minutes and our food finally arrived, well some of our food. Missing my son's food and the other plate had onions and peppers which it wasn't supposed it. So, she comes back all the drinks were empty at this point which I get it you're busy. No knocks on her she's a very sweet person with a great personality and could be making more money elsewhere honestly. She sees that it's wrong takes and gets it fixed. Still empty drinks on the table I then touch my wings to eat one cause heck I have my food, why not I'm hungry. Wouldn't you have guessed it they are cold like really cold wings and soggy. She comes back 15 minutes later with the sandwich and still no sliders. What the heck the sandwich and wings come back out, hot and he is still sitting there with no food. Finally about 15 more minutes and the sliders are out. Needless to say I'll never give this place another chance, I would rather eat gas station food such as a WaWa or Sheetz atleast ill get my food in a timely manor and it...
