Lee's Market — Restaurant in Chester

Feeding the community at a very low cost., It's a Blessing to have a local business such as Lee's Market within your neighborhood community not taken advantage of the city residence nor first time customers. Food prices are low for example $2.00 for a two inch hoagie. "Wow" Yes, and using top of the line lunch meat's i.e Dietz & Watson. I'm a former residence of the city but every time I'm passing through I have to stop by and support my former local food chain. On this past weekend my extended family had a family celebration so prior to the event I called Lee's Market and place a order for pick-up. My schedule pick up time was for 12:00 noon upon my arrival my order was completed and ready to go. Why are you waiting stop by today and support your local community business you won't be disappointed. HORRIBLE: Ms. Lee, one of the owners can be sarcastic and rude at times. On December 15, 2017 at 5:30 pm I purchased a hoagie and a fruit salad. During checkout I asked Ms. Lee if the watermelon in the fruit salad was sweet she responded in a sarcastic manner "it wouldn't be on the shelf if it wasn't sweet." I was somewhat offended with her response and overlooked her RUDE behavior. The very next day I phoned to complain about the fruit salad and she put me on HOLD (2) times and never returned to the phone. I realize on my 3rd attempt to reach Ms. Lee that she was not going to answer the phone. Poor customer service was there today ordered 2 hoagies… was at check out took another 15 min to pay and the rude ignorant lady says no debit cards since when I’m there every week… but it’s funny the gentlemen in front of me had no money he charged to his account $26.50 then it took her 5 mins to to tell him he balance he owes was $195 what a disgrace they could have made me an account and I would have paid the next day but instead they would rather throw the hoagies out cause nobody is gonna order the same thing u do… who really Carries cash these days no one… try to promote a mom and pop shop and they clearly don’t want your business cause I’m sure I could have got same stuff at wawa and left...
