Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

I used to work at a tattoo shop very close to this pizza place-for a good four years. Unfortunately, I never ordered from them because I didn’t hear very good things. But, I should have not listened to what a few people said and tasted for myself.

In my younger years I was a line cook at some very expensive places, and while in school I still cooked (Plus delivered at some really cool pizza places)... So needless to say I’m kind of snobby when it comes to my pizza. I will tell you that I have been house/dog sitting in Chesterfield for a week and a half and since I was told that this was not the “greatest’ Jet’s pizza years ago I was skeptical when ordering.

Boy was I wrong. I’ve ordered three deliveries in the last week and every single one has been amazing. Number one I never deliver or should I say I never get delivery because I just like to pick it up myself but the delivery fee is not overpriced and you can still leave a pretty nice tip without breaking the bank.. I am so happy that I ordered from here.

The pizza has been fantastic, the subs are wonderful, the delivery people are polite, and even though you order online you can still call and talk to the people who work there and they are more than happy to help you out and chat with you.

I wish I could take the entire staff and fit them in my pocket to bring them home when I’m done housesitting. I’m not going to say that I don’t have some nice and decent Jet’s pizza around me in Royal Oak but this particular jets pizza is so amazing that I’m going to actually miss housesitting just so I can order food from...

Back in May ordered a Large BLT pizza deep dish, they made a thin crust didn't notice it till I got home. Picked it up from the same girl with different colored hair as usual. Called when I got home and noticed it was thin crust. They were going to put a note in my account that I was to get a replacement pizza for my next order. I called today yes a few months later cause I haven't been in town and they have nothing in their system for me. How convenient. So basically out of my order that they were "supposed" to make right. Will never order from them again. Made me feel like I was lying. Like do ppl really lie about food?? If you do that's sad. Just pathetic. You've now lost a customer because you couldn't find it in the system cause the different colored hair girl didn't do her job and replace my Large BLT deep dish pizza. Absolutely unreal. And how funny the different colored hair girl "doesn't work there anymore". Also noticed while I was waiting for my pizza 3 other customers orders were wrong and the different colored hair girl and some guy rolled their eyes when told the order was wrong. I'm not surprised they messed up mine and won't fix it now. Will never come back...

Tried to ordered a pizza online today. I live in New Baltimore. I recieved a phone call about 5 mins after I placed the order from the manager telling me because of the parade they cannot deliver. I proceeded to try and tell him that it's just the main road (Green st) blocked off and that the driver could take Baker st(located right next to this jets location) to Washington st and get to our house with no problems. The driver would have made 2 left hand turns and one right hand turn(apparently to complicated)He then told me it was not "worth it" for him or his driver to do this and offered me a refund or 4 o'clock delivery, didnt even ask if I'd rather pick it up. As good as the pizza is it's clear they do well enough now to turn down paying customers. 2 stars because the food is great, customer service is abysmal.

Update! Dominoes in New Baltimore had no problem delivering to a paying customer...
