I’ll unfortunately never spend money at this establishment ever again. I doordashed my order. Why they even accepted the order is beyond me because they didn’t have the food I ordered. My dasher called to ask if I wanted a replacement and I expressed what replacement I’d like. Upon receiving my food which was completely sealed up in the bag and untampered with, I noticed I didn’t get what I asked for, or rather settled for. Thankfully DoorDash refunded my account for this blatant error, but with it being after 9pm and nearly too late to order a different protein for dinner, I wanted to call and speak with a manager for some clarification and understanding. Unfortunately, the “manager” I spoke with insisted that she personally packaged my order and that either the dasher took the food or it just mysteriously disappeared. I reiterated to her that their bags literally seal up and my bag arrived untampered with so I asked her to clarify she was really trying to blame the dasher. I informed her that if I called and complained to DoorDash about a dasher tampering with food that they will loose their job. She then stated that she wasn’t necessarily blaming the dasher and that the food could have just somehow disappeared in some mysterious way. I’m disgusted with the blatant disregard for the customers order and requests and the lack of respect for the dashers that bring so much business to that location. Can’t trust a business who doesn’t take accountability and would possibly threaten someone’s livelihood over it. A simple apology would have made this entire situation much easier but the obvious lies and lack of accountability is disturbing. Cherry on this sundae, customer service just plays music for 15 minutes and then hangs up on you. I’ll literally starve before spending money with this company again. Poorly structured from top to bottom apparently. Edit: finally spoke with customer service. At least whoever answered the phone has a soul and empathy for people because she was just as floored as me by the fact that “management” would blame DoorDash for a mysterious circumstance for my missing and poor quality food and said my complaint would be sent to her supervisor. Whether or not that true is moot because my business with this company is done anyway. I would actually drive past two other locations specifically to go to this new Baltimore location, because the service and quality were far better than the rest. No more! The new manager they have at this location is one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with! I have over 25 years of retail management experience and if this woman worked for me, she wouldn’t be working anymore! Ordered the saucy nuggets Through the app, and got them without the sauce because I wanted to get it on the side, Since my wife and I share them and she does not like the spicy sauce. Then I am told that They’re supposed to charge me for the sauce? They’re literally called saucy nuggets. I just wanted the sauce in the side. But because I wanted it on the side, I’m going to be charged? When I expressed my concern that this is ridiculous and that every time I show up at this location in the past six months, they give me more reasons not to come back. (I was very polite and calm just making a statement.) Manager states in a very snotty way, “That’s fine, we don’t want rude customers like you anyway.” This was all especially annoying, considering the fact that the whole reason I was there is to get food that I was supposed to get two days before, but got home to discover that the food I ordered for the kids wasn’t even in the bag. Because of our distance from this restaurant, we ended up having to pick them food up from somewhere else. To completely top it all off… All of the nuggets were hard and rubbery. Certainly not up to par with what I’ve come to expect from this location. They never have chicken, a 30 minute wait, cashier was ruder than normal and forgetting to give people their order, three employees never left the office, I assume the Manger was the one barking orders from there to the three that were working and the back door was open for the whole time letting bugs in, it was 61 for a high today.
So after a year I thought I would try this place again, maybe I had a one off. This visit was worse then the last one. Arrived at the drive throug line order speaker at 815pm. Person said to go ahead with my order, ordered an 8 piece meal extra crispy with mashed potatoes, gravy, and cole slaw. Then nothing, no confirm, no pull ahead, no total just silence. Couldn't pull forward because of other cars in line. After five minutes someone asked if I was going to order, repeated my order, was told they had to make sure they had the chicken. She then came back about three minutes later and said they were missing a wing and breast and could I take those as original. Ok it's just two pieces. I was then asked to pull forward, this is there it gets worse. They took my card stuck it in the machine and walked away, fifteen minutes later they asked if I got my order, I have not why would I still be sitting there if I did other than to get my credit card back from the beeping machine that it was still in.
