We've ordered from Marco's since we moved out here 7 yrs ago. I have to say they have always had awesome food until this last time. I'm going to review my last experience because it shocked me and I hope and pray I don't experience this again. I want you to keep in mind as you read this that I believe in the quality food Marco's puts out which is why it was shocking. I'm unable to stand or walk very well until I can get my surgeries done so I've had to order out on more occasions to feed my family since I can't get around my kitchen. Marco's is a definite go to if you're looking for an amazing sub. The subs are stuffed with the most amazing meats, cheeses and flavors you desire from your first bite till that last fulfilling bite. The pizza has always been DELISH! The crust always has the right softness/crispy texture you're looking for with the most delectable toppings to satisfy your biggest pizza fanatic. This has always been true... until I received our last order. We order the BBQ chicken every time unless it's a sub night. Now NORMALLY it would have been heaven in your mouth but it was not to be this time. This time when the lid was opened l found a saucy mess. My heart.. and stomach.. dropped as my gaze swept across the pile of chicken and cheese swimming in bbq sauce. I attempted to lift a slice only to watch it slide back into the puddle it had come from. The bottom of the crust was so thin I realized it never had a chance. Where was the rest of the bottom crust, I thought in horror! Not to be deterred, I reached for my trusty spatula and scooped the slice onto a plate. It looked like something that had been "regurgitated." I grabbed a knife and fork.. something one would normally NEVER need.. and a couple of pieces of cheesy bread and proceeded to take my seat at the table. I sat for a moment looking for the best angle to go in. As I slid the knife through the sauce pond and attempted to stab something with my fork I decided a little piece of chicken would help to keep the bite together. What actually made it to my lips was the chicken piece and what I thought at first was a piece of cardboard dripping in bbq sauce. Sadly, I had found the bottom of the pizza. I laid my fork and knife down next to the pond on my plate. I had hoped..nay PRAYED, the taste of the amazing BBQ chicken pizza Marco's has always granted me would shine through. Sadly, this night my prayer was not to be. Instead I picked up a piece of bread I had placed on the edge of my plate thankful it was not swimming in the sauce pond responsible for the death of my pizza and took a bite. I could almost hear my taste buds rejoice at the flavor that greeted them! This! This was the flavor they remembered! All was not lost. I had found hope in that bite. I sat with my family enjoying that cheesy bread. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough and I left the table feeling a little empty... Well at least my stomach. I have no doubt we will order Marco's again.. maybe soon because I can't.. won't.. let this experience halt my faith in some of the best subs and pizza I've had in a while. I know in time my memory of that fateful night will fade. So have faith my fellow "Za" lovers. I do 🍕❤️🥖 P. S. I apologize if you found my review a bit...
Read moreon 4/12/2024 i wanted to order 4 large pizzas for a local elementary school. upon the website it stated "50% off for pizzas". so i inclined to order., sense ive been going here for 10 plus years. When i clicked on the 50% off . The browser immediately took me into build your own pizza. in which then the price jumped up to $11.99. Then when i added pepperoni it then jumped up to $13.74. As a consumer it states that it needs to be a menu item. it which it is. I went inside and the gentleman then pulled out a menu. now quite frankly not everyone has these menu's laying around and goes off pricing on the website as a menu item. I am not happy with this company anymore and i will not ever go back here. especially knowing i was buying 4 large pizzas with pepperoni for kindergarteners. with the time i spent with going somewhere else. going to marcos and thinking there was a glitch in the web browser. Unfortunately i was late getting the teacher the pizza's. EDIT 2 HRS AFTER THIS INITIAL POST. I had a conversation with a lady named Kym on there Facebook site "Chesterfield location". upon doing research in which i dont have hard facts theres a Kym that's a website designer. I'm presuming this is the lady that replied to this post and possibly who i was in a thread conversation with on Facebook. after now for about 2 hrs . The website has now changed . I cleared the cache in my browser and selected a different location of Marco's pizza. Because of this further information I will not ever be going to Marco's Pizza again. Myself and now 3 other people have seen the website post changes. We all think its misleading and we all agree on the website instead of it showing HOT DEALS. it should be reading Current Specials and/or Current promotions. Needless to say I'm happy that the kindergarteners got fed. Late because I initially thought there was a website flaw getting the pizzas and then I had to goto a different pizza place but at least there...
Read moreWe ordered pizza from Marco's for the first time today, as a recommendation from our neighbor as we just moved to the area, and we were very happy! We got the deluxe pizza, which had plenty of toppings, was cooked really well, we also had the breadsticks which were SO good, and we tried the Italian sub. Everything was super fresh, and hot. I waited about 10 minutes for the order after arriving, and we placed the order online, which was no problem, as we were quite happy with our food! We will definitely be ordering again, and appreciate a great pizza place close to our home. We definitely enjoyed the pizza more than Happy's pizza up the road. One of the workers kindly carried my order to my car for me as I had a sleeping baby in my arms. I really appreciated that kindness. I also noted the other customers that came in, and they seemed to have formed a good relationship with return customers. I enjoyed observing the personability between the workers and customers. Thank you for a...
