If I could give 0 stars, I would. Upon having issues with a driver being disrespectful previously, in addition to dressing being forgotten for a salad and a fork multiple times and I hadn't requested anything but customer service and to make it right in a respectful way. I ordered a salad today and when I opened the container, there was no fork. So I waited to open the egg, cheese and meat containers to put them on my salad. I called and requested a fork as I had nothing to eat my SALAD with, it's not pizza and shouldn't be an issue to rectify the problem, right? Wrong. I got nothing but attitude almost as if I WANTED to call and request a fork and wait to eat my salad. He asked his "cooks" if they put a fork in the salad and they claimed they were pretty sure they did. I explained I wouldn't be wasting their time or mine if there was a fork in the bag or container. He reluctantly got his driver on the other line and said he would "send him back to bring me a fork". The same nice delivery man came back and apologized and said he was very sorry they didn't put one in there and said he was mad they can't get it right and they've done it before. I apologized having felt bad for having to ask for the fork, but honestly it should have been there to begin with. Should have been good to go, so I open my salad back up and open the containers of toppings as usual. The eggs were ROTTEN! They smelled like sour milk that has been sitting for days. I almost lost my stomach to the smell. I called to let them know in case they had more that were bad, not even asking for a refund or anything and even told them in a polite way- and I was told by apparently the "other GM" the following: "it looks like you have ordered quite a bit from us and I'm looking at our system notes here and it looks like there have been issues previously, so I will refund you your money for this but I think the best thing moving forward is that we don't deliver to you guys anymore since there has been so many issues." WHAT? Are you kidding? He even went on to give me a story that HE was the one that made all of those "ingredients" fresh this morning and there was nothing wrong with the eggs. I told him I would gladly bring him the eggs and he told me it wasn't necessary. I asked him why he would turn away a PAYING CUSTOMER who WANTED to give him my business for any future orders and his response was that there have been too many issues. Issues that YOUR EMPLOYEES CAUSE!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I asked to talk to someone above him and he said he was the owner of the franchise. I asked why as the owner of a franchise he would be turning away business when as the customer I did nothing but ask for the problem to be rectified and to inform them of their rotten eggs, and he said "because there has been too many issues before. If a customer kept ordering stuff from your store and there was constantly issues wouldn't you put a stop to that?" Absolutely NOT especially when it's YOUR FAULT! GET GOOD FOOD, SERVE FRESH FOOD, PUT UTENSILS IN THE BAG, PULL YOUR BIG BOY PANTS UP AND ACT LIKE A REAL BUSINESS "OWNER"! Not like I would have ordered again anyway, but I felt it was my duty as a paying customer to share this experience with everyone in the world of the wide Web, so hopefully you will eat somewhere like Jason's Deli where you are appreciated! After the delivery window had long passed, I called to inquire about where my food was. It was still there at the store. I offered to come and get the food at that point. I get the food home and what's supposed to be warm is obviously cold so possibly not safe to eat. The salads were supposed to be deluxe salads and didn't have any of the topping that go on the deluxe. So.....order delivery. No delivery. The order is cold and incorrect. How can this place stay in business? I returned to the store to get the toppings for the salads and a refund for the entire awful waste of time. For you St. Louis folks, this pizza reminds me of Farotto’s on Manchester where I used to order pizza 10 years ago. Anyway - this place does a great Monday-Tuesday $10.95 14 inch 1 topping - online special for pick up which is what I did. Can’t beat it. Jeff and Jordan took care of me. Super friendly. Their warm personalities and great conversation and service went a long way after a longer day of work. Tip extra if you can. They deserve it - especially now.
