my two bulldogs has been going there almost a year now… But I have had my concerns and I wanted to lay out if they were true we’re not… Come to find out they are… They are cage most the time they are at daycare, and when they are out playing they get put in “ timeout” as morgan called it. if they were put in “time out” why would was I never contacted if something happened… My two-year-old bulldog is the sweetest little thing ever and my niece and nephew can pull her ear off and she would be okay with it. last night I was doing my research and reading the Google reviews… Come to find out my assumptions were completely true… When I would bring them in, my bulldog would try to pull away from them just to not go in there. i went on my lunch to bring them some ice cream. and seen my girl sitting in the corner… Mind you my bulldog loves the pool so much. at my moms house I literally had to put her in the house because she loves the pool so much that she just barks at it. I noticed when I started picking her up that she would jump out of my car to go potty and run up to my door just to get a drink of water… Which made me think that my concerns were real. and then when I picked her up she would have full of eye boogers… Which means that she was sleeping most of the day. probably because she was in “time out”. I truly believed in this company and trusted them… I was completely wrong… Beware please keep an eye on your babies. i truly believe this is animal abuse and i am...
Read moreOur dogs stayed at pets and co for the 3rd time and last visit will be our last which is a shame if customer service had been good. We booked appointment over phone for a drop off the next day on a Friday. We were not given any instructions accept that an email would be sent which is fine as we have stayed there before and knew the routine. We show up around noon on Friday before our flight and a note is on door Saying closed for lunch. 2 workers were in gated area and after lots of effort getting them to not ignore us they finally let us in. Then we get a call 30 min later saying a penalty for both dog’s of $30 or some amount like that for making them open the door. I asked why did they not tell us over the phone when we called the previous day as that an odd time to close and the woman who I spoke with had a nasty sarcastic tone saying yes that could have been done but it’s all over Facebook and webpage and email sent. I checked email and nowhere was it noted in email and I shouldn’t have to rely on Facebook for an extremely important non typical close time when an over the phone call was just made. Customer lost for life. Felt like I we were treated and scolded like a bad dog. I recommend going to rover.com which we will be doing and have done in past but this place was so...
Read moreWe (The Roche family) have been using Pets & Company for at least 10 years and we will no longer be using them because of our recent experiences. We were one of their first customers and I guess customer loyalty doesn't mean much to this company. It is NOT good service to promise that your cat is being kept in a 'cattery' separate from the dogs, when that is completely untrue. I only discovered that this was the case because I happened to ask to see where he was being kept. My cat was not only not being kept separate from the dogs, like I was promised, but the dogs weren't even in cages. When I asked about this situation, they responded, "Oh, we got rid of the cattery." It only adds insult to injury when the staff member is rolling their eyes at you when you're discussing your pet's dietary specifications, comfort, and routine. Wow.
How would you feel trusting your pet to people that deliberately keep information and changes in facilities from you? Pets are like family, and we take their treatment seriously. Anyone who knows anything about cats knows how different they are to dogs and how stressful the situation mentioned here is for them. Goodbye, Pets & Co, we've gone elsewhere for our boarding &...
