Sharjah Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Chesterfield

We like any international cuisine and this is an excellent addition to west county. We loved it. Easy to find off of Clarkson exit of 40. Lots of parking in the Schnuck's lot. Nothing fancy, just a small storefront with comfortable chairs and tables.

Very friendly owners who are glad to answer questions about the menu. It is clear they want to take care of their customers and do whatever they can to make you happy. We enjoyed our conversations with the owners and the chef.

I had the mixed grill rice bowl and loved it. It comes with basmati rice surrounded by beef gyro meat, chicken and diced veggies. The white house sauce they provided has a garlic base. I used a good amount of it but I have to say everything was so tasty it probably didn't need it. The charred gyro meat was the highlight. They said they marinate, steam and then grill the chicken. It showed. The veggies--tomatoes, red onions and yellow peppers--were fresh, crisp and tasty. Next time I would bargain for even more because I really liked them. The rice is basmati and has a light kick but nothing too spicy. Taken all together it was the kind of meal where every bite was a treat. Large, too. I finished maybe half. Looking forward to the leftovers.

My wife enjoyed her grilled paneer salad. The paneer (cheese) is somewhat like tofu and was cut in large strips. She is a big salad fan and instantly remarked on how fresh the lettuce and other ingredients were.

What did I just try. I could argue this is the worst food I've ever tried. I HAD HAIR IN MY FOOD. The photos they advertised were all false. Mind you they were generated by AI. The food was SO bland. I am honestly wondering if they even added salt. It was all previously frozen. You can tell. All of the workers ignored us. They were unhygienic, he didn't wear gloves and kept touching his beard with his long nails. The atmosphere was so terrible. So simply DONT EVEN COME HERE. THIS PLACE SUCKS. Read all of the reviews BEWARE. Only come if you want to risk your stomach health.😁

The best Shawarma of my life. I have been all over the country and tried Shawarma in a dozen cities and this is by far the best. I asked them if they could make my wrap extra spicy and they were happy to do it for me. It was a great blend of heat and flavor. The meat was seasoned perfectly and the veggies tasted fresh. The Sharjah sauce was amazing and paired perfectly with the meat, and the man behind the counter even gave me a free cup of their homemade hot sauce when I mentioned I love spicy food. If you are looking for Mediterranean, look no further. I got a Chicken Shawarma Wrap but they have an extensive menu that will please anyone, including multiple vegetarian options.
