I just moved to the area about a month ago and I've gone to this Subway three times so far. No complaint about the quality of the food. It's always been perfectly fine. The complaint I have is about the staff. It's always about 4 or 5 when I go in there and these girls look at me like, "What on Earth are you doing here?" They were training a new kid today when I was in there and I had to repeat my order three or four times. When it got to his area he's like, "Hey". It took me a minute to realize he was talking to me, because that sounds like something you would say to your coworkers and not a customer. But I repeated that portion of the order again. Then it got down to the point where he had to ring me up. Now keep in mind this entire time he's got somebody training him who I assume is the manager of the store because she acted like she enjoyed telling people what to do but not really being at work. I told him I needed a large drink with my sandwich. After ringing in the sandwich, he asked me if I needed any cookies, drinks or chips. So I said yeah throw in some Sun Chips. So he rang up the Sun chips and the sandwich. So I asked where the cup is for my drink? And she jumps in and says, "Well we didn't charge you for it", and stands there and looks at me for 10 seconds. As if it was my problem to deal with. I'm like, "Okay. Well charge me for it cuz I said it to him." He did ask if I wanted chips drinks or a cookie, but that was after I had already said I wanted a drink and I didn't think I had to say it again. In retrospect I probably should have. So she says just ring him up for a large drink. Not rering the $13 that I had just paid for the chips and the sandwich, and then make it a combo so it would be cheaper. None of that. Just charge me $2.76 for the drink. After which I said thank you and they both said nothing. Now this might not seem like a huge deal, but when you have four or five different things in one visit, and get the same attitude each time, I can't do it anymore I don't ever want to be served by that chick again. Because all I wanted to say is, "Bi* who do you think you're talking to?" And that's to the kid she was training! I'm 39 years old, can you not address me as "Hey"? Once again poor management. If this girl that was training this kid was the manager, she definitely wasn't the general manager. Nobody would hire her for that position. She was likely the shift manager which is really not a manager when you're talking about Subway. The way she was training him shows why the employees act to the way they do. They were all in the back when I got there. Probably had one customer in the last 2 hours and just didn't want to do anything. I've been there, but I put my game face on when it was necessary. I worked at a subway 20 years ago and these are just your typical 19 year old spoiled Chesterton brats. The kind I would rather do without when I'm just trying to get a sandwich after work. They actually cost the owner customers today....
Read moreMy family and I USED to drive over 20 minutes to go to this subway as it has usually always been one of the better stores, but either through poor management/training or the lack of it Ill have to go to one closer to us. Being ignored, shushed, had my order pushed back for others, being ignored when told to or not to put something, being lied to about food being toasted, getting double charged for extras I was already chraged, and finally the lack of consideration or care even after multiple in store complaints. As you cannot reach any help line to inform the subway corporate of the issues constantly persisting, and managers and employees saying "Go to another subway if we keep messing up." is beyond crazy. I understand mistakes get made but some accountablilty goes a long way. After the 6th or 7th time having issues and then being told "Uh-huh oh yeah, thats unfortunate" when bringing it up to someone and it being pushed back into our faces. Don't know what happened but lost a customer who has been going there since 2010. Performance has been too poor...
Read moreGo to another Subway in the area or another restaurant all together! The two guys working clearly hated their jobs. The one walked out from behind the counter while waiting on the customer in front of me and locked the doors 13min prior to them closing. When he came back continued to make the sandwich with now dirty gloves on. I asked him to change his gloves and explained why, and his attitude towards me started from there. He threw things on the counter, rolled his eyes at myself and other customers, and any request for a topping on a sandwich resulted in an annoyed sigh. Then as I was trying to pay, the "cashier" was told to lock the door behind me when I leave (still not 8p). They had 4 other customers still in the store. Our sandwiches tasted/smelled of their horrible fake tuna that the customer ahead of me ordered and they used the same knife on our sandwiches without...
