If I could give no stars, I would. Second time we ordered food from here in the past few weeks (which we always ordered from here every week), 1st time in past few weeks food never arrived and it was two hours since ordered for two chef salads. They arrived with two salads (lettuce and tomato only- definitely not chef salads). Now today, called at 6:30 placed order, was told about an hour for delivery. Called back at 7:30, was told their driver screwed orders up and they got behind, but driver left ten minutes ago. Called back at 8:15, no delivery yet and was told driver is out with all deliveries. After speaking with Tessa, she basically gave me excuse of being behind on orders, I explained a curiously call would’ve been polite. She then interrupts me and says what can I do to make you happy, the driver is on the way. Well, we won’t be ordering there anymore. Place was great when Jimmy and another young kid worked there, so polite and personable. We order a lot of food there and order large amounts for catering functions, happy to give it to another business that appreciates customers and actually wants to make money and run a successful business. Nobody should have to wait two hours, no phone call or even a credit for future purchase. First time I can see it being a mistake, second time- it’s now considered carelessness. Whoever owns this place should probably consider retraining. You’re losing a lot of business. Maybe they don’t even care! BTW, 8:24 pm driver arrived- food was almost cold and mistake with order, had to call back. They can’t credit back to credit card, only cash or in store credit. Waiting to hear back from owner. Because they also sent cooks home and nobody can remake what we...
Read moreI had drove past, and to my eyes appeared that there was a new Italian restaurant & Pizzeria where there use to be one. I stopped by, walk in and I was greeted by two gentleman, who were so pleasant and explained all there specials they have daily, gave me a menu, there were a few people inside eating. The place smelt so good, like you were in your mothers house while she was cooking sauce. Brought back a lot of memories. They treated me like I was already family, which made me feel so welcomed. The ambiance from the minute I walked in to when I left, was so warm and comfortable. I liked to see a dining area that was very nice to have a meal if you want to just get out of your house. After speaking with the owners, and they told me they have there main store in East Stroudsburg , and we spoke for a little bit about there new location there and that they will be running Different specials every day of the week. I took the menu home, and when my husband was on his way home, I ordered one of there Gourmet Meat-lovers pizza ( pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, ham, & bacon ) and we also ordered a order of garlic knots. The pizza was to die for, I had to close my eyes and open them again to make sure we were still in PA, there pizza crust taste just like NY pizza. Meats were so delicious all together on the pizza, great combination . It was just perfect. The garlic knots were also fabulous, not soaked in grease or oil, but sure full of flavor. I would recommend to Expand your culinary horizons! Discover a new favorite by trying one of there gourmet pizzas in...
Read moreI ordered a cold sub and asked for no tomatoes or onions. And I received a sub with BOTH tomatoes and onions. I tried looking past the minor miscommunication, but after I dismantled my sub and took off all the tomatoes and onions, I bit into it and almost broke a tooth. The bread was harder than a brick wall. Not pleased with the quality of food. Most definitely never coming back here.
Update: The above post was a little over a year ago. I made a promise to myself that I would never come back here again. Just this afternoon, my friend asked if I wanted to order take out. I didn’t know where she was ordering from, she just said she wanted Italian food. So I told her I would order a chicken cheesesteak with JUST LETTUCE AND MAYONNAISE. And when she came back with the food, I unwrapped the sandwich and saw that my cheesesteak also had tomato and onions on it as well. I asked her where she ordered the food from and she told me it was Tony’s right off 115 in effort. It blows my mind that I can place 2 orders from the same place a little over a year apart, and the same issues I experienced the first time are the same exact issues I experienced this time. Communication is pathetic. I don’t understand how hard it is to relay a simple order to someone. Ask for one thing and you get something completely different than what you asked for. Specifically saying I only want lettuce and mayonnaise and somehow also getting tomatoes and onions. I can’t wrap my head around that....
