Custer's Cones & Candy Chetek — Restaurant in Chetek

My husband & I had the pleasure of introducing my sister, brother in law and niece to Custer's last night for the 1st time. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. I was so happy to see there was even a full cooler of dairy free options. I got the black cherry oat (I assume oat milk base) and it was SO CREAMY and delicious. If I didn't know better I would have thought it was regular ice cream. Nice to go someplace and have options to enjoy with my family. My niece (10 yrs old) asked if we can go back again and again and again because there's so many flavors she wants to try. The girls helping us were SO wonder too. My sister and BIL had their family dog, Bernie, with us and the girls gave us a "pup cup" for him. While on vacation in June 2025 we stopped in here twice. Ice cream is delicious and creamy, and the staff was friendly both times. They have free samples to try to ice cream before you buy, which was great because they offer so many unique flavors. Tip: the One scoop is actually like Two scoops.
