NY Chicken & Fish — Restaurant in Cheverly

I would like to give a Zero stars unfortunately there’s no option for. My family and I were actually going to Popeyes and my wife saw the place and we decided to stop by. The lady on the cashier was super rude. Trust me I’m a store manager for a foods business and I actually hate to do this. First of all, she decide to lock the doors 3 or 5 minutes before 9pm. For me this is not acceptable is like stealing because you taking money away from your company. Decide to put people outside and asked them to wait for theirs orders outside at the windows with no manners. She has long fake nails yes she will told me I’m not working in the kitchen but doesn’t matter. I'm from NY but I have family in MD that's not too far from this location, that recommended this place, NY Chicken & Fish. It's a clean & quaint establishment with an approximate 6-9 table seating area that's cozy. My family & I ordered take out & had the fried fish & a Philly cheesteak sandwich (all with fries) & we loved it all! The owner told us that he is originally from Brooklyn & he "clowned/teased us" for being from Long Island, NY which we are used to, lol. The staff is friendly & accommodating & the food is very good. Our wait time was minimal. My only disappointment was not making it back there before I left MD, but that was my fault! I stopped by for the first time today. I got a breast, wing, fries, roll, and half and half sweet tea. The service was friendly and pretty fast. Out of the meal the Fried Chicken Breast was above average. The wing was ok. The fries I don't know if they were cooked in fish grease, but they didn't taste right.
