Rooties — Restaurant in Cheviot

Rootie's is a nice break from some of the other bars in Cheviot. They have pool, they have darts, they have good, well-priced drinks; they don't have a concept. And honestly, the lack of a concept is refreshing, and indicative of the Westside bars I grew up with. (Yes, I know that sounds funny, but it doesn't make it any less true.)

Stop in for a drink and relax. Don't expect overly loud music or overly rowdy people - just a good place to stop & get a drink/

I really like this place. The drinks are cheap, bartenders are friendly, and Pac Man for a quarter. Usually pretty laid back during the week, but can get lively on weekends. Nothing flashy or hip, just a little neighborhood hole in the wall...

Refused to serve me because I asked for 2 shots of crown apple shook and they were out and tried to serve me crown and apple pucker mixed and I said that's not what I asked for. Lol I would have drank the crown...
