I came to this location after a long day at work, arriving about 7 minutes before closing. Since the website wasn’t accepting online orders, which had already stopped 30 minutes before closing, I called ahead to confirm I could come in person to place my order. However, when I got there, the door was already locked, even though it was well before closing time. Inside, a guy and a girl behind the counter were casually chatting, smiling, and laughing. They weren’t busy closing the place down; they were busy chit-chatting. When I waved to ask why the door was closed early, they just smiled at me without offering any explanation. This was incredibly frustrating after I had called to confirm my visit. I just went home.
To make matters worse, when I called a couple of days later to speak with the manager, Sergio, he responded to my complaint with, "So I don't know what you want us to do about it." I was appalled by his dismissive attitude. He seemed completely unbothered by the series of issues during my visit. Read moreWhat’s the point of having a rewards system that says you get a free bowl after 100 points ($100 spent) if that’s not actually what happens? I regularly buy the collagen berry and mixed berry bowls, so when I hit 100 points, I expected to redeem a bowl of my choice….not get hit with a surprise charge because it’s “more expensive.” That’s incredibly misleading. Just be upfront and say, “Spend $100, get $13 off,” or “Spend $100 on whatever you want, but only get our cheapest items free,” because calling it a free bowl when it clearly isn’t is complete BS.
And really…after a customer spends $100, you can’t cover the extra $2? That’s a joke. I asked about it and was told, “Oh, that bowl has more toppings.” Yeah, I know…. it literally comes that way. I didn’t customize anything. And If I’m buying that bowl regularly, why wouldn’t I expect that to be the reward?
You throw out random 5% off coupons AND can’t even honor a full reward for loyal spending? That’s disappointing. I’ll definitely be rethinking how often I come...
