For Starters, my family and I have ate from Ricobenes for years. Yes they have a whole new set of employees and managers. They’re not customer service friendly, and they are very rude. The people who answers the phone I’m assuming have nothing better to do than to provoke their customers. They answer rudely and don’t let you finish your order. Then have the nerve to make my things wrong. I called back about my order of $62 damn dollars, so of course I’m pissed about my order. I call back to speak with a manager, which I spoke with Michael. He is very also rude. And telling me that I can’t have the employee name because she did her job by arguing with me, and provoking me because I asked to speak with a manager about my order. Which actually pops up when we call ( the order, my number, and my address) so she was being arrogant and nasty how they’re usually are. Michael the manager came defending before he heard my side and proceeded to argue with me about her action and when I told him she was being nasty and arguing with me over a question I didn’t answer because it shows them and I was calling back to speak with an manager whom I just got off the phone with about remaking an item. So of course as a manger he hung up on me. Without giving me the employee name. He felt as if she did her job and as someone who also works in a establishment as an manager she was supposed to listen, and if the customer is angry or even frustrated about an order of $62 dollars then try to de-escalate the situation. I told her I was just on the phone with an manager whom I told I will call back about my orders instead of her transferring me like the first girl did she questioned me about some she can’t help me with also something she see on her screen when my number pops up.. while I’m not the type to allow this behavior when I’m spending my money on food this review will not be the end of this problem. I also had someone come back out to redeliver sandwhich they messed up that I Paid Extra For. The delivery driver tells me I have to exchange sandwiches I gave away to the homeless people outside of my establishment which is on camera.. for 1 you can not take back food you gave away for sanitary conditions. So the driver did not give me the sandwiches and left. So I paid $62 for Nothing. I ordered 3 sandwiches, 3 hot fries, and 1 bottles fruit punch. And Although my whole order was wrong or not edible the only was right was the bottle fruit punch. All I ask out my whole order is for a remake of...

I was recommended by a couple of people at work to try this place for their famous breaded steak sandwich.. Since I live so far up north that driving to work is just an hour sometimes I wanted to know if it was worth taking the drive 20 mins more south to get just a sandwich. So since yesterday was my birthday I decided to go after work and then just rush home with my food with the hear blasting and finally try it. So I lost story short I walked to a crowded place which only meant the food must be amazing. I was glad I placed an online order so I could just do the pick up line since the regular line was out the door. The "pizza by the slice" line also existed and was half the size of the regular. I was early by 10 mins for my estimated delivery time and it was busy so they asked me to come back in like 20 mins since I ordered a pizza etc. I came back and picked up my order which was a large Breaded steak pizza, a king sized Breaded steak sandwich with chili cheese fries and mozzarella sticks. I was surprised that the mozzarella sticks didn't have the traditional Italian seasoning breading (it was actually so delicious regardless 10/10) The chili cheese fries looked different to my expectations as well but wow.. The flavor was definitely there. I would have asked for extra cheese or maybe a side or gravy or something to throw on top. But otherwise 9/10. The sandwich was definitely great. Just wish it was on garlic toast like I had originally ordered ...(it was probably because it was so busy) But it was a 8/10 The pizza was great as well. The sauce is pretty good and cheese as well. It doesn't taste like generic flavors at other places. 8/10. If it wasn't for the fact that it smelled like PEE.. the whole time I was outside walking up to the place ... and that i almost got hit twice as I was in my car.. "parked" NOT MOVING.. .. And then as I pulled out ..someone else almost hit me LMAO. I would have had an amazing time. But I would definitely like to try and dine in. It looks like a great spot to bring some people so they can enjoy it as well!. They have other things I would like to try so definitely...

Ricobene's has truly mastered the art of creating an exceptional breaded steak sandwich that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of this classic dish, I can confidently say that Ricobene's serves the best breaded steak sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of devouring.

From the very first bite, it is evident that every element of this sandwich has been carefully crafted to perfection. The star of the show, the breaded steak itself, is a succulent piece of meat that boasts a golden, crispy coating with just the right amount of seasoning. The tenderness of the steak is preserved impeccably, providing a delightful contrast to the satisfying crunch of the breading.

The sandwich is meticulously assembled with a keen eye for balance. The fresh, fluffy bread serves as the ideal vehicle for showcasing the flavorful steak. The combination of textures and flavors is simply divine, creating a harmonious symphony in every mouthful.

What truly sets Ricobene's breaded steak sandwich apart is the attention to detail and commitment to quality. Each ingredient is fresh and of the highest quality, leaving no room for disappointment. The portion size is generous, ensuring that you'll leave satisfied and content.

Furthermore, the friendly and attentive staff at Ricobene's add to the overall dining experience. Their passion for their craft is evident, as they are more than willing to accommodate any specific requests and provide helpful recommendations.

In conclusion, Ricobene's has truly mastered the art of crafting the ultimate breaded steak sandwich. From the perfectly breaded and tender steak to the fresh and flavorful toppings, every component of this culinary masterpiece is a testament to their dedication and expertise. If you consider yourself a fan of this classic sandwich, a visit to Ricobene's is an absolute must. Prepare to be amazed and tantalized by the best breaded steak sandwich you'll ever...

Went here based on a friends recommendation since I live in Chicago for a long time and never heard of this place close to old Chinatown . The Italian beef is MEH good. Not bad. Not as great as Portillo's but not bad like overrated Ali's beef or the once glorified and praised Johhny's Beef in Elmwood Park and Arlington Heights, IL. The onion rings we're delicious. Not salty and not overly crispy. Right texture. Minestrone soup was typical meh good but no "Wow" to it. I will come back for their "Best Breaded Steak Sandwich" posted on a "USA today". A newspaper ad. update as of 10/6/19 Well today I made an encore return to try the Ricobenes famous Breaded Steak Sandwich with Sweet peppers which I asked the server what she recommended. Unfortunately this steak sandwich was nothing I got excited about after tasting it. To me it was a like eating a bland country fried steak dinner from a franchise breakfast restaurant from IHOP or Denny's only it came in a form of a sandwich with tomato sauce. I don't know why "USA today" ranted an article about this as a must try sandwich in Chicago? Well I tried and ate it and I was NOT impressed. I am so glad their daily soup which was minestrone and the onion rings are still delicious. The Minestrone soup tasted very fresh with the vegetables and onion rings are not too greasy or full of batter or flaky like some places that serve such onion rings as sides. Other than that, I would come here every now and then maybe for their fresh soup and onion rings no one can make in Chicago or the suburbs. Sorry was willing and trying again to find something I wanted to like or love about Ricobenes for something special.
