The people there are very kind and can help with finding books but this one time my friends and I booked the large study room. Unfortunately we had a friend that was incredibly loud and was the first one to leave. After he left, a security guard came in telling us to be quiet and not play on the pole which we weren't. One of my friends got up but fell on the wall causing the security guard to come back and ask who did it and stuff but they noticed that apart of the paint on the wall was chipped off so they assumed it was us. They told another librarian to come in and the librarian said it was chipped off but the piece wasn't on the ground. They left but later on the same security guard comes in asking for our names and ages for a injury report when none of us were hurt. Of course we all told her our names. Read moreMy daughters and I had the pleasure of attending this library for the first time and I must say that I'm very impressed. The building design was breath taking; with a very attractive inside having all state-of-the-art equipment. The beautiful art work displayed on the walls were stunning while staying true to the overall Asia atmosphere . You have to pay meter parking or self pay in the lot across the street going east of the building. Also, I had a very difficult time getting games and crayons for my daughters to play with because both of the children librarians were absent from work. After asking two library employees if they could assist me, they weren't able to because they didn't have keys to the activity storage area - only the children...
Read moreThe kids section of the library is nice. I’ve talked to some friendly and helpful staff here. However during one of my visits during a weekday my 4 year was crying and upset over a toy with another kid . I held my son to calm him down but the older Asian male who works at the library as a homework helping teacher on weekdays was not happy about my kid crying. He felt the need to walk over to us and give us a very angry look and confront my 4 year old in his face. He didn’t talk to me he straight up shouted at my kid to stop or go outside. I think he needs to learn how to control his anger. I understand that my child caused commotion for a brief minute. But clearly this older man lacks control of his own emotions. Being extremely upset about a 4 year old and yelling at his face is not very adult and...
