Slice Factory - Bridgeport — Restaurant in Chicago

I’ve loved this spot since it popped up some roughly 3-4yrs back, give or take a year. The metaphorical “Cupid’s-arrow” that stuck me from the get go has been the Tropical BBQ Chicken, and though it has evolved in form and presentation over the years the flavor has maintained its tangy, sweet, and savory deliciousness that keeps me coming back time and time again.

That and there’s the dark-haired cutie working the counter/window who I always enjoy seeing and chitchatting with. The only reason I’m writing this is because of how big of a sweetheart she is, and I can only hope the folks who own this establishment know just how lucky they got with having such an outstanding employee.

(And if that dark-haired cutie happens to read this, the mystery of who the author (and your secret admirer) is probably won’t go unsolved for all that long. I was in just minutes ago, and it took a minute to get my phone to “tap-in” with the link for this review. At least I hope not…

Ive been a loyal customer for 3+ years plus and probably the most frequent customer in those 3 years ive ate slice factory 85/90 out of the last slice factory. And im about to stop coming. Ive ate at every location several times so frequent even met the ceo several times. In the last two weeks ive found hair twice in my food and both times i left got a combative response from their immature manager natalie. Luigi needs to show his new manager how to be good at customer service and act mature and not respond so sassy. Went in for the slice of the month(carnitas) and they didn’t have any. Manager said she would have the cook throw one in and to give it about 15 minutes. I waited 25-30 minutes and when I went up to pay the cashier said they didn’t have anymore slices. When the manager went to the kitchen turns out the cook never even started cooking the slice like they said they would. They said they could make it and that it would be another 15 minutes. At that point I just chose something else.
