Hardee’s — Restaurant in Chickamauga

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had at a Hardee's. My Girlfriend and I pull in to get breakfast at 9am. There was an employee smoking at the entryway to the store that told us the lobby was closed due to short staffing. Looking into the store there were 4 others working, while two were outside on a smoke break. Now, having worked in locations such as this, 6 employees can in fact handle a drive-thru and lobby with little to no stress, especially on a Tuesday morning after 9am. When my girlfriend mentioned to the smoking employee that he should not be smoking by the door and she was going to report it to the health department, he said "good for you" and continued to smoke. That's when I decided to enter the store and make a formal complaint with the manager on duty. When I reported the incident and rude comments from.the smoking employees, the manager on duty shrugged his shoulders as if he wasn't going to do or say anything. So as we all know in the south Hardee’s is about the breakfast and that’s well deserved… however I’m a west coast guy and I like Hardee’s / Carls Jr big burgers… my wife is also a huge fan … today was like EVERY other time I come thru … SUPER polite , Super fast , and always asked if I would like to upsize or add a drink … we always get two burgers and split a large fries… the same woman is always so polite when we come thru … according to the ticket her name is Lottie … we always have the greatest experience when we come thru the Chickamauga Hardee’s because the employees are so polite and they seem to enjoy there jobs … this day and age folks are not polite but the folks at this Hardee’s go way above and beyond to keep us coming back and choosing them over the other 4 fast food spots in Chickamauga GA … I know I wrote a book but sometimes this is needed and well deserved… from order to bag in hand was less than 3 min and they cooked my fries fresh to order like my burger … thank you folks and I hope Ms.Lottie and her cooks and staff are...

Lives nearby so I was glad Hardees opened. Never minded waiting in line because their hamburgers were excellent. Lately by the time you get from the speaker to the window 2 fully loaded hamburgers are ready. Obviously they are reheating already cooked hamburgers because the part of the burger outside of the bun is hard and dark but the inside of burger that is completely covered by bun is mushy and not as overdone. There is no way two 1/3 pound thick burgers are done in the time it takes to get from the speaker to the window with no other cars waiting. This is why there aren’t lines at the drive-through like there used to be. Such a shame because they are great at sending coupons in the mail. It is also a shame because this is a great to make your customers sick by rewarming an already cooked hamburger that could have been cooked hours ago. Next time you order hamburgers, look and see if the burger in between the buns is as hard and dark as the part of burger hanging...
