China Dream — Restaurant in Chickasha

There a reason I'm giving China dream a one star review. It's not because of the food, how clean the table where or even how the waitress treated me and my friend. It's how the lady who is in charge of the restaurant the one that works at the register had treated us.

So me and my friend had arrived at the restaurant at around four o'clock. We came in and asked for a table for two. A waitress guided us to a table and ask what we would like to have for a drink. We both told her Pepsi and she left us to get our drinks. Once she left we went to get our food and after we got our food we sat down. then the waitress returned with our drinks. I told her thank you and she left. Everything was fine for a while. We ate our food and my friend had gone to get some more food from the buffet. She came back started eating her second plate and then had to go to the bathroom. When she left to use the bathroom is when our waitress had came back to refill her drink and the waitress ask what she got for a drink and I told her a Pepsi. After that she then left again to refill the drink. After she left that's when it started to go down hill. Because as I was sitting they're trying to eating my food and wait for my friend to return. When the cashier lady had suddenly passed by my table with a aggressive speed walk. When She left that's when I started to feel uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave. When my friend finally came back to the table is when I started to feel more comfortable. It's only when She sat back down is when I began to eat my food again and me and my friend started talking about her day. Halfway through the conversation of is when the cashier lady pass by the second time. But this time as she passed by she gave a judgmental side glare at us. After she left is when I asked my friend if we could leave. I told her I wasn't comfortable anymore and I told her what happened. After she listened to what I had to say. She said that It's was fine and that it is ok for us to leave. I then asked her if it was okay if I could get some fried bread to go. She said it was fine with her so I got some of the fried bread. Then my friend called to the waitress who came over with the bill. She asked the waitress lady for a to go box and that she will pay extra for it. The waitress lady headed over to the cashier to get a to go box. It wasn't even a minute before the cashier lady and waitress started to come back to our table. I could tell from the look on the waitress face is that something was about to go down. She looked uncomfortable like she didn't want to be there and had a slower pace than the cashier. The cashier on the other hand had a fast aggressive pace to her walk and had a angry look on her face. When she got to our table and look to my friend. She said "you pay extra" in a nasty tone to my friend While angrily tapping on the bill. My friend instantly became uncomfortable and said to the cashier "ya I pay extra". Instead of paying amounts that was on the bill. my friend throws $60 onto the plate that holds the bill. The cashier took the money and left and I got my to go box. I put my fried bread in and the waitress put in a bag. Afterwards she left our table I left a $8.00 tip and we got up and left the restaurant.

Let's just say I'm never going back unless someone else pays. Im sure as heck not going to pay for it. The 4 stars for service is for the waitress for being kind to us and putting up with...

7/30/25 Haven’t been in there 5 months decided to eat in there today as soon as we walked thru the doors we seen Mei staring at us they seated us and the restroom was clean smelled good the food looked fairly decent we got our meal and tasted and looked good but all the time we were there you’ve felt someone staring at you and you look up and you see Mei and one of the other waitress staring at you and their prices out high $29.69 just for the meal and we had just water they put to much MSG in there food they never ask us if we need anything they never come back to our table till there ready to give us our bill and used to be a good place to eat the atmosphere was nice but that gone since 5 months ago I’ve noticed there wasn’t much ppl there around lunch break used to be full we could barely get us a seat I believe that one person is right I think they do need to shut it down. Let me tell you about 2 good places to eat mama carols and jakes rib in Chickasha ok all great food and great prices waitress and owners very friendly. I wish they would bring another oriental restaurant here in town fusion in Lawton is also great. I wish they had another in Chickasha ok and thank you for reading our post. I had dinner here tonight with my husband and it was literally the worst food we’ve ever eaten. The sweet and sour chicken tasted rancid and putrid. But hey If you cover it up with sauces surely you won’t be able to taste spoiled chicken right? Wrong! One bite and you could taste spoilage. The lo mein was greasy and flavorless. Just linguini type noodles sprinkled with soy sauce for color. Mostly everything on the buffet table tasted old and gross. We took a few bites and paid our bill and left. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Most important rule of owning a restaurant is make your customers come back and know how to cook,

No one knows how to do anything at this place and it shows. It’s overpriced also, almost $15 dollars a person for the dinner buffet.
