Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Chico

When through the drive thru just before 11 p.m. The drive thru cashier offered the latest promo burger and immediately asked for our order(we hadn't had time to even glimpse the menu) and when my husband asked for a few minutes to look at the menu, the cashier came back with an exasperated sigh and said very rudely " yeah, sure. Take your time, I'm here all night". I heard her from the passenger seat and my husband looked at me, just as shocked and offended as I was. It put me off from ordering anything, but my husband was very hungry. So he gave his order to the speaker only to have the cashier respond with " um yea you're gonna hafta wait a minute, sorry"... So much for "here all night" snark... At that point my husband was done with the experience as well. He drove out of the drive thru and parked so could get the name of the cashier. I walked into the absolute FILTHIEST CARL'S JR EVER! Every aspect of the store was filthy. Employees wandering around grumbling(apparently the AC had stopped working), each just as rude as the drive thru cashier. Whose name I found was Araya. The customer comment cards that are usually on the tables, were absent from the entire restaurant, so I picked up a random receipt off of a table. When I saw the time stamp on the receipt I was only further disgusted. It reads 6:57:32. It was after 11p.m. at this point, 4 hours after the order had been placed. No one cleaned that table in the entire time!!! Perfect example of just how foul this particular Carl's Jr. is. If it's that dirty and the employees are that rude, I can only imagine whats going in with the food😒😕Late nighters in need of good burgers are better off going...

Most of the time the customer service is less then great. I went in one night and between a friend and I we spent almost $20..so you'd think that they would appreciate our business but as I was choking on my food (no joke) my friend asked if we could be let into the restroom since it was locked and they said no that the restroom was closed at this hour and will reopen at 7a.m. My friend asked what was there middle of the night customers supposed to do if they were dining in and not to go..the cashier/manager on duty rudely informed us that "technically" the dine in area was closed therefore they didn't have to provide the restroom and that we were actually being done a favor by her letting us sit down to eat and not take it to go. Mind you ALL doors were open and unlocked so customers could freely walk in from any direction and that there were no visible signs or notices stating that the dining area was closed or reopens at certain times..i felt (after i stopped choking which btw no one offered any assistance) the customer service was the worst I've ever encountered and trust me when i say I've had some horrible ones... but nothing like this. The cleanliness of the whole restaurants was mediocre and the wait time was too long especially considering they didn't even get the order right. And all this after paying the prices we paid......

It was late about 2am when I went to get food because I couldn’t sleep. I’ve almost always had an issue getting food at this carls. I’ve gone when they are supposed to be open but closed for a system update at 3am. I’ve absolutely reached my limit on being dissatisfied by mistakes. I ordered a double western combo without BBQ sauce because I absolutely hate it. I get home and normally I can smell the BBQ sauce but I find they put the sauce on the burger and then tried to wipe it off. I called the manager to explain how this wasn’t okay for her to tell me she didn’t hear me ask for no BBQ sauce. I really hope you aren’t paying these people more than minimum wage. It shouldn’t be this hard. The part that kills me is they tried to wipe it off. So I get home with $40 worth of food to find out what I got for me I couldn’t eat. Melisa the manager wasn’t very helpful on the phone. Told me she didn’t hear me say that. Did not offer any solution. Mistakes are understandable but these are decisions. I would have been fine waiting for them to remake it there. Now I’m never going back...
