To sum it up if you don’t want to read my story: It’s typical Taco Bell quality food with absolutely horrible customer service from h*ll. So bad to the point I had to write my first negative review ever.
I’m just a college kid who also works in food service and I never write negative reviews because everyone has their bad days, but these employees here are consistently on another level of rude. They’re basically bullies. Something is going seriously wrong with the management at this store for the attitude problems to be this out of hand. It’s fast food I get it you only work there for the money, but you have to at least treat your customers with basic human decency. Every time I’ve gone in to the drive through the person on the mic immediately has an attitude like they’re angry that you’re making them do their job. If you try to go past 9pm the employees clearly hate you for showing up even though the place stays open until 2am and they’re the ones who chose to work at a Taco Bell. Despite all this I never wrote a bad review.
What made me write the review was what happened today. I pulled into the drive through and the person on the mic sounded frustrated as usual. It wasn’t busy. It was only 3pm. I ordered a couple crunchy tacos:
she immediately said the “you’re total is _ pull up to the window” line when I wasn’t finished ordering and gave no indication that I was finished
The total for the order she abruptly threw out was ridiculously large for just a few tacos.
The total was confusing, so I politely asked her what item had bumped the total and you would have thought I had just cursed out her mother with how immediately combative and petty she became. She started saying things along the lines of “That’s what the total is I don’t know what to tell you. You’re total is _ pull up to the window.” And she said it with such an edge to her voice it was ridiculous.
At this point I was startled and confused so I ignored it and tried finishing my order. This lady cuts me off while I try to continue and tells me my total again and to pull up to the window. I told her I had never finished ordering and she just bluntly tells me I’ll have to pull up to the window and tell them what I want. ???? She was acting like it was physical torture to do her job and answer ONE question outside of her usual lines. She straight up stonewalled me for asking a question. And you might be thinking I had to have been rude for that to happen, but I genuinely really wasn’t. This whole situation was wild.
To make it worse. The shells of my tacos were all crushed to little pieces and there was a whole pound of hot sauce thrown into the bag that I had never even asked for. I’m not even exaggerating it was close to 50 packets. Given the context of what happened before, this really felt like some intentional passive aggressive behavior. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had secretly spit in the food too. You can hate your job all you want but that doesn’t give you the right to punish customers for just existing. This location has to crack down on the attitude problems at their store it’s...
Read moreThis is the first prize winner in slowest taco bell nationwide why would you make this taco bell a Doordarsh spot to order when you can't handle drive thru or move with a sense of urgency, the hiring manager must of hired the night crew right before a day off because they should be ashamed in what's a good team because just going to state the obvious and say the obese gentlemen will and never has had to move with a sense of urgency just stating the facts then u have another guy just staring at the screen and the breaks have to be scheduled during rush? I hate when I have doordash order here I avoid this side of town so I don't get orders from here. The 20 bucks an hour is overpaying these people who don't move like they are getting 20 an hour. So this is what I'm taking from this u give up all customer service and lose money to hire anyone this job should have requirements and common sense questions. Or put a supervisor on that will weed out the people who want to work or the people who are gonna move at 2 speeds slow or slower. This whole establishment down to the owner should rethink careers because you clearly need to have someone higher up who knows production and making money need to give some lessons stop being a franchisee and be a part of the franchise clearly your independent because corporate would see this as a failure from...
Read moreI've never had an issue with the food, but the last couple months the issue has been the employees. There's only two employees there that have any business working in the customer service industry. All the other ones are rude, disrespectful and they definitely shouldn't be working in customer service they'd be more suitable as debt collectors calling people at home. Again today 05/06/2021 9pm I'm picking up food and have 3 employees look at me 3 different times and never even attempt to help me. I had to say "excuse me" then the food is put on the counter not handed to me when I'm a ft away from this lady and she says "there you go." No eye contact no ty no your welcome whenI thanked her. I have never in my entire life experienced such lack respect, common decency and customer service. It's not just this Taco Bell it's every one of them here in town along with other fast food restaurants. I won't order food for many of these fast food chains. Who knows what might happen your food. Ever since covid these places will hire anybody get it together because this...
