Very bad experience! The manager Andrew B was rude and refused to rectify a previously missed order.
Almost a month ago, after going through the drive thru, part of my order was missed. It was during peak lunch time so the line was long and I had two hungry little ones in the back, so I decided to go home instead. Later I called Macdonald's and informed them that part of my order was missed. Then they called me back and said that they will rectify that the next time I go there and that they will have a record of it with my name. So when I went today the manager, Andrew B, said that there is no record of it because it's been over 2 weeks, which is how long they keep their records. Then I told him that I wasn't informed that I only had a 2 week window to get my missed order. He responded to that by saying that it was "common sense" to know that missed orders records are kept for 2 weeks... I'm sorry... just because I don't work in the fast food industry, what's "common sense" to him is not what's common sense to me! He then said that he's sorry that he can't do anything because it's been over 2 weeks and because he doesn't have a record of it he can't give me "free food". That was also very offensive because I wasn't asking for "free food", I was asking for food that I paid but didn't get. I got a strong feeling that he used words like "common sense" and "free food" nd was a little demeaning and condescending because I am a person of color đ¤.
All this back and forth took about 5 to 10 minutes and it was during peak lunch hours and he was so stubborn on not rectifying a missed order that he was willing to hold up the line. Because the conversation wasn't going anywhere I just decided to get my food, pay for it and go, and informed him that I'm going to leave a bad review on top of calling Macdonald's and filing a complaint.
The kicker is... he calls me back just as I arrived home and said that he found my record when he looked further into his "records" and that he will rectify my missed order the next time I come in. I find this very interesting because why didn't he look further into his records when I was there? Makes me wonder... was it the negative review I told him I was going to leave and filing a complaint that made him look further...

I gave the woman my card at the first window and she told me my card was approved and to go on to the next window but her screen froze so I would not receive a receipt. Upon arriving to the second window, a rather ill-mannered young gentleman open the window and rudely asked me "did you pay". I calmly told him "yes I did". Then he closed the window and went back to speak to his supervisor/manager. The woman that I spoke with first that took my payment told me that there was only a partial payment made on my card and then asked me if I had another card. I gave her my credit card but then checked my bank account and I did have sufficient funding to cover the cost. In the background I could hear her manager yelling about the $3.25 I owed on a card that was not ran correctly. I think the management here needs some serious work and their cashiers should spend a little more time learning their system and checking their attitude.    Read moreI went there yesterday and got a double quarter pounder and fries. I went through the drive-through and then had to sit and wait in a parking space to get my food. The food was just awful, and I had to wait extra time for it. The fries were old and the oil they cooked them in must have been putrid. They didnât taste good. The hamburger mustâve been sitting for a while. The meat was dry and cold, the bun was stale.
Of course I didnât discover any of this until I got home. And I was super hungry, so I choked down part of it. But I will never go back!
Those hamburgers are supposed to be cooked while you wait. McDonals stepped up their game with a special machine that cooks them super fast. Iâve had them at other McDonaldâs locations and they were great.
It has been my experience that itâs all about the particular restaurant you go to.
So not only did I get shitty food, but I had to wait for it! I wonât...
