My husband and I had spent most of the day at the local hospital because my 93 year old mother-in-law had fell and broke her hip. We were hungry and decided to stop at Rally's on the way home to get something to eat. We pulled up to the drive-thru to order our food and were told to "wait a minute." We waited and then were told that we could go ahead and order. We ordered our hamburgers and asked for extra onions on our Rally burgers. She then said that she had our order at 4 Rally burgers with extra onions on 1, and we told her no, that we wanted the extra onions on all of the burgers. She finally got our order correct and we pulled around to the drive-thru window. Well, the woman that was working at the drive-thru was blatantly high. She told my husband the total and he paid her. When she gave him his change back, she dropped some of it on the ground. She then went on a rant, telling us that she was sorry, that she was having a bad night, that they had told her that it was her last night and they had her working the drive-thru window, but she had to go clear to the other side of the restaurant (where the other drive-thru window was and wasn't being used), just to use that register to get change, blah, blah, blah. Well, it was evidently clear why they told her it was her last night working there, she was higher than a kite! And if you know she is higher than a kite, why would you let her wait on customers at the drive-thru window? Duh! And to top it off, when we got home, we didn't even get the extra onions on our sandwiches! Evidently that was too much to ask for. Very disappointing to...
Read moreI decided to get a fish sandwich and chose Rally's because they have a military discount. I'd eaten from this restaurant before and was giving it another try. Well they served the car in front of me fresh food I presume because I sat behind them about 7 or 8 minutes which I'm usually parked for so the line keeps moving. When the cashier handed me my sandwich she said it's been ready just had to find it. Old doesn't describe the fish bricks. I went back for my money and yes they served the old food on purpose to offset cost or maybe it was just a laugh, and on that note I talked to the manager and he was the biggest part of the problem.
If you eat there and get sick you know why.
So I get a call from Cori C, apparently the manager. He explains that he gave me the one in front, meaning the oldest deep sea double sitting in the warmer.
I had to explain to him several times that he was only digging the hole deeper and that his store has made entire families sick. He let me know that he's the youngest manager in SE Ohio. I let him know that handing out old food could kill someone and the inside of the fish sandwich I'd received was brown.
All he had was excuses and I don't take those when it comes to my temple. Bye bye Chillicothe Rally's.
What really gets me is I waited behind another car 8 minutes they got hot food and I thought I'd get the same, the only blessing was my veterans discount but no veteran should be treated that way nor...
Read moreI arrived at the drive thru at 6:08pm and no one ever took my order. I tried calling the restaurant while I was waiting to see if they were even open—no one answered. So, I backed out the drive thru and drove around to the front of the restaurant and waited for quite some time at the window before someone acknowledged me. Seriously, all I wanted was a half lb. of chicken bites for my son. Finally, the cook came to the window to help me. He told me that the manager said that it would. a few minutes before he could wait on me because it was shift change. I counted five employees in the restaurant. Thank goodness for the cook because I asked him to please prepare my food so they I would not have to wait until the manager could get around to waiting on me. Thank goodness, he did. By the time that I was finally waited on and received my order it was 6:32pm. No discount was offered for my inconvenience. I have waited for quite awhile for my food before at this location and gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, this is...
