Wendy's — Restaurant in Chillicothe

David at 6:27 on December 10th 2023, wouldn't make things right. ASKED for chicken nuggets being out to replace with just plain chicken patty from $1.99 sandwich. We were charged for them on the mobile app but then them not having regular nuggets was NOT conveyed to us until we showed up. We were offered fries, frosty, or spicy chicken nuggets instead. We explained that due to our dietary restrictions (diabetes (have to limit carbs) and multiple stomach issues (IBS, GERD, ect) we couldn't do all the extra carbs from a frost or extra fries, or the spice of spicy nuggets). We made a very simple ask a plain chicken patty in replacement of the nuggets. We were told that if that's what we wanted we would have to pay an additional $3-4 for the plain chicken patty to replace the nuggets we already paid for when the chicken sandwich only costs $1.99. How does this even make sense your going to Charge up to double what the sandwich costs when you sell it outright for half that, to replace something you couldn't give me and still charge me for the thing that is missing? While there we witnessed an employee that was upset due to poor inventory and management of shift prep, she said something to management and took out her phone and took a picture I hope someone higher up see's it. We were able to drive down the road 3min to another Wendy's and get great, fast, reliable, and respectful service. I hope this helps someone to prevent them from having a similar experience. We will also be contacting corporate. But this location has lost any repeat service from us or our family and really doesn't reflect well on their brand. Let me tell you when I say shake my head, some of the rudest people I have ever came in contact with, I work in the fast food industry and I was appalled. Not only was I interrupted 3xs trying to order but then once I got my food it was wrong, I checked it while still outside of the window and you could hear the manager yelling through the window complaining about us, then she slammed the window open and yelled in our face, and said What! It has extra pickles on it! And then we said yes but it's not supposed to have tomato or mayo and then she jerked it outta our hands and started complaining. I mean Wow! So I called and asked for corporates number and guess who answered, Karen in a managers shirt- the one that just acted very unprofessional. She proceeded to tell me that it was because there is only 2 people working there tonight, I said that I get working fast food but there is a way to talk to people and a way to treat people and that I still wanted the number, she then giggled and said it was on my receipt and I looked and it wasn't but they wrote it out on a piece of receipt paper and put it in the other bag. The absolute worst part about the Bridge Street location is the drive-thru lanes and the difficulty fetting in and out of the parking lot for both dine-in and drive-thru users. It is almost always back up around the entire store causing delays on Bridge St. & 2nd St as customers wait their turn to enter.

Customers wanting to dine in or carry out must navigate the above to find a parking spot to access and then play a game of "Impatient Fast Food Froger" to get in the store.

The food is average, maybe a bit below average when compared to other Wendy's. I always feel the fried foods are too oily and leave an unappetizing after taste. Maybe they don't filter and/or replace the oil in their fryers normally, but I don't think it would hurt to do that more frequently.

The lobby is adequately clean and presentable, neither superior or inferior, but definitely not welcoming.

Order accuracy seems to be a high point as I don't remember having had any real issues nor do I feel the staff was a problem.

Overall, I avoid this place unless it is late at night when the volume is lower. If I truly want Wendy's, I go to thw othwr location in town on Main St. just because it is a simpler and leas less...
