Always have gotten good food here at very reasonable prices. But you have to try one item especially if you are grabbing something for a sick friend. Their chicken soup is incredible. It has so much chicken you will be amazed. Not little chunks mind you, practically a whole chicken breast in the quart size.
Service is always quick and friendly. The place is packed many times so get in there at the less premium times. Only thing I think they need is more dining space.

Sad to say, I have to amend my 5 star review from 3 years ago. We come here often enough and have always been treated well except the last two times that we ordered takeout. We tried to communicate clearly that we wanted beans and rice added to the Speedy Gonzalez. Well previous visit we paid near 3 dollars more to convert to a combo just for the beans. Got home, No beans.
I made it a point to bring that up this visit for takeout. Ordered the same thing, I checked the receipt and it was the same amount as the previous time. I pointed out that I did not get the beans and was essentially told I was a liar and I did not order the right item in front of other customers. I told the register operator in no uncertain terms that I DID INDEED pay that amount and left. I got home and guess what, no taco. So for over 7 bucks I got beans, rice, and a small enchilada. I called and the lady who answered apparently had overheard and asked how she could make it right. I told her they lost that chance when I was told I was lying and that I did not get the Taco.
I will not darken their doorway again. NO ONE has a right to call someone a liar when they have no clue. I gave them two stars only because the manager offered to make it right. Could have been 5 again with a more respectful register operator and an offer to fix it...

My family and I were seated right by the door, which is fine. Another family walked in. They had a physically handicapped child, who was in a small wheelchair, and a man who had a service dog. As soon as they walked in the door, the woman behind the counter who was checking out other customers looked at them and shouted, āWe canāt accommodate a wheelchair or a dog in here.ā The woman pushing the wheelchair was obviously appalled by the situation and they left because they were not welcomed. The employee was extremely rude and continued to gossip to her coworkers and other customers (VERY LOUDLY) about the situation after the family left. I understand this restaurant is small, but if you can accommodate a high chair, you could have easily accommodated this family. Seeing that this childās wheelchair and a high chair would need around the same amount of space. Instead of having them wait a few minutes to make a little extra room for this family, they were basically refused to be served instead. Iāve had my eye on No Way Joseās for a while and really wanted to support a local small business. Unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired.
When my party of four arrived, we saw a sign on the door that said āPlease wait to be seatedāāso we did. But as we stood there waiting, at least seven different staff members either walked by us or looked directly at us without acknowledging us at all. A few even acted like we were in their way and seemed visibly annoyed.
After more than 10 minutes of standing there without a single greeting or sign of service, my son finally asked a man in a red shirt behind the counter if we should seat ourselves. His short reply was, āYou wait.ā And still, no one came over to help us.
If this is the level of attention and care shown to customers right in the dining area, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes in the kitchen. Sadly, we ended up leaving without ever being seated.
I always want to support local spots, but customer service has to be part of the experience. I truly hope they improve...
