Do not use the delivery option if you order online. I would rather be leaving a review of the food. Unfortunately, Taste of China uses a service that they know doesn’t staff enough drivers. I was informed by email my delivery would be late cause they couldn’t find a driver. I was charges a $9.99 fee for delivery. Not expecting this. My only options were to continue to wait, pick it up, or cancel. I canceled cause by the time i got there and got home my food would be cold and not worth eating and to continue to wait while my food sat there in the restaurant getting cold. I now have to wait 3-10 days on a refund. When i wish i had dumplings. Bad way to do business. Don’t use a service that you know isn’t worth it or offer online ordering but tell the customer up front pick up only. Let them make the decision ahead of time. Not when it’s last minute.
I also did not need the 11:38pm phone call to complain to me about my review. Don't call a hangry person who didn't get dinner because you use a bad delivery service- and don't read the review- take delivery off as an option. Don't...
Read moreI don't know how this got any good reviews, I am usually particular about the places I go for chinese food but I was hungry and doing some business next door so I decided to check it out, this was very likely the worst chinese food I've ever had. I got pineapple chicken, the sauce was the same sauce used in sesame chicken and not pineapple sauce. To make it worse it tasted like it cam out of a can, it was definitely not made in house. The rice was not fried rice it was somewhat crunchy yellow rice with a few peas and carrot bits mixed in. The chicken in was very fibrous i don't know if it was fried too hard or what but I've never cooked chicken at home that came out that fibrous it was like chewing bamboo. The broccoli smelled sour, the only decent part of the meal was the fortune cookie. I usually give places a second chance so if I do I'll add an update to this review. I seriously don't know how they got any good reviews though especially the ones that are saying it's the best they...
Read moreOstensibly your standard Chinese takeout restaurant. Expect the same fare found in most other such establishments.
But they are anything but ordinary. It's the best Chinese takeout I've had in years. I have no complaints. Usually I order double meat, but I don't have to here. The food is delicious and they definitely give you your money's worth.
The service is fantastic too. Everybody is polite and helpful. Things can get a bit confused when the place is busy, but I've worked enough for service jobs to know how that is.
I've also worked enough for service jobs to know the flaws to look for and I see none of them. Again, I have no complaints. This is my ONLY Chinese...
