Starbucks — Restaurant in Chino Hills

I had the worst grocery store and Starbucks experience thanks to Joanne. Joanne right away was not pleasant and did not give a greeting or "hello". So I try to order a smoothie, and she told me they did not have smoothie mix...I'm thinking "ok that's fine", I can order something else for the kids. I was trying to order a strawberry frap, and Joanne cut me off before I could even finish ordering and said "we don't split drinks here, but there's another Starbucks down the street". I proceeded to try to explain that it would be too much effort to go to another Starbucks when I was trying to complete my grocery shopping as well, and with two small children, it would have been unnecessary. Joanne said again"the Starbucks down the street will give you a smoothie and split it". At that point, I'd given up on grocery shopping and ordering coffee or a drink for the kiddos. I said ok, we will leave. Joanne was so rude to me, and then her and another employee proceeded to laugh and point at us when we were leaving and yelled "BYE" in a condescending manner as we were already about 30ft away at the exit door.

Not only did she cause me to drive to another location that day, but I won't be back because of how uncomfortable she made me. I now drive the extra 15 min to another grocery store. ...

I come to this Albertsons all the time, I keep getting asked to review this Starbucks, so maybe if I do my phone will stop asking me? Dang you Pixel 2 XL for being so accurate and suggesting things!

Here is what I observe as I walk by, usually no line for the Starbucks section, if there is a small line plenty of space to wait for your venti mocha blah blah blah. Everyone I walk by seems pretty happy to be there. It smells like pumpkin spice when you walk into this store now, could be the spicy pumpkin decorations, or it could be the PSL's being pumped out of this Starbucks.

It is by the haircare aisle and pet food or baby food. So if your baby is hungry, or your dog, or you need some hairgel, you could pick some up while you wait. Also near the deli counter. Hand carved pastrami might go better with a frappucino...

It's Starbucks and it's yummy! Large selection of coffees, teas, lattes and fruit drinks both cold and hot. Holidays they usually have special offers and flavors available. Nice deli selection of eats plus the sweets they offer are very decadent. They also have select coffe, teas and items for sale. Chai Frappuccino blended is the best! Gift cards make nice gifts.
