Alterra Park — Attraction in Chino Hills

Only "bad" thing about this park is the tiny parking lot, but this is a local neighborhood park and most people walk in so they don't need to park. This is my neighborhood park and I like that it's across the street from the Chino Hills State Park north entrance, and you can easily walk from the state park to Alterra. It's in a pretty location with views of the mountains and surrounding hills, and there's lotsss of green grassy space. Very nice half basketball court with views, right next to the restrooms. The trees, small playground, large gazebos, and doggy water fountain add to the appeal. Oh, and a long sidewalk runs through the entire park from the parking lot on Soquel Canyon and spits you...

nice park with a small pond filled with a variety of big and small fish, red ear slider turtles, ducks, geese, and other birds. Best to visit the park during spring and summer months (all the turtles are out sun tanning). There's no fishing allowed, feeding the animals is not allowed, no swimming, BUT there's no one around to enforce these rules. There is a playground, volleyball court, basketball court, restrooms, and a small waterfall. If you can't find space in the parking lot, you can drive around and street park on the other end...

This Is A Great Park In Chino Hills Right Next To The Chino Hills State Park, Which Is Just A Walk Away. I Have Been To This Park With My Friends And Family Because I Have A Friend Who Lives Close By. I Also See All The Nice Stuff This Park Offers Such As A Field And Playground.
