Shi Foo — Restaurant in Chino Hills

What a pleasant surprise! We haven’t been to this place in over 10 years, mainly because it was serving only (but decent) Authentic Chinese American food, but not the authentic Chinese food. Tonight, we didn’t want to go out on a late Sunday night so our options were somewhat limited. I was just going to get a combo plate at this fast food place, but when I saw the Chinese lady behind the counter, I asked her what’s good and she said the Beef Rice Noodle (干炒牛河）. Indeed, it was very good, comparable to a regular Chinese restaurant. She also told me that their wonton soup is really good. For sure I will be back soon. After having terrible experiences at MagicWok in Chino Hills (inside note-my son found a Magic Wok worker digging in the trash at 99 cent store😐), I was looking for a better Chinese Fast Food Restaurant that I could feel confident that I was eating at a place that was clean and served fresh and delicious food. Well I tried Shi Foo and it was exactly what I was looking for!! Not only is the food healthy, fresh and delicious but the place is clean and the people who work there, especially the owner, are very inviting, friendly and appreciative of your business. I came here for the first time on a Sunday around 6PM because of the great reviews! I’m new to the Chino Hills area! Chow Mein was cold the rice was just a bit warm. Couldn’t eat it! The food was a little on the greasy side. I’ve must have come on a bad day or people out here have never had good hot healthy Chinese food! Everything looked like it had been sitting for the entire day. I will be trying other places before ever coming back here!
